  • The perfect balance of features and value
Every griller has their preferences. So if you like charcoal or a Kamado type, no one can argue with you. I personally like them all, but this grill strikes the best balance of value, variability of cooking styles and features of any grill I've owned. The Clearview is genuinely a great idea and feature, not a gimmick. I'm really nosey when I grill, so being able to take a peek now and then without losing the heat is an amazing feature. The sear burner for some reverse searing action is, again, an amazing feature I use every time I cook steaks. It's a must and it allows me and a thermometer to have perfectly cooked steaks to any specification a guest requests. The side burner is obviously great to warm up some sides. I'd suggest a cast iron griddle plate and then you can bang out amazing breakfasts as well. The light up knobs are indeed useful at night but if you often grill late, pick up a little clip-on light so you can see the meats well when you open the hood. Clean up is quite easy and I like the angled tray that allows you to run all of that into the tray or bucket. The only quibble I had with this grill was assembly and shipment, but that had zero to do with it's function. First, if you have big hands, trying to screw on the sear and side burner portions is a pain... Literally. The steel have sharp edges under there where you have to get your screwdriver. I lost some blood putting this thing together. Second, unfortunately, despite the packaging seemingly being very well done, the lower left front part of my grill face was dented. Again, neither of these things affected in any way the usage and general awesomeness of the grill. I doubt you can find a better bang-for-your-buck grill anywhere. Because I looked long and hard and I couldn't! ... show more

  • Awesome Top Notch Grill ,🌟🌟🌟🌟
Top Notch grill. Solid, light weight, wheels pivot, lots of space, as a burner for boiling corn or ECT, as a side burner where you can grill hot dogs for the kids. I highly recommend this grill. Is it awesome. The only part I didn't like was I got the box the first day, then the next day another one showed up. We thought we had two grills but that's how it comes because there's a lots of pieces. Highly recommend this grill and give it 25 Stars ... show more

  • Best grill I have owned so far
This is the best grill so far. I have had it for five days, and have used it for three of those five days so far. I even used it wrong and it still performed like a champ! So on the first night, I cooked burgers. I like the Flame Diverters on this grill, as they are very wide and much much better than the ones on the Char Broil Performance Series. There were a few flare ups, but that was expected with 80/20 beef (my bad). Overall, it performs like a dream. My mistake with it was when I went in to go eat, I went to burn off the food, so I turned it up high. I forgot about it, and left it for about 30 minutes. When I finally remembered it, I went back expecting to have shattered glass on the ClearView section. None of that--it was humming along at well over 700 degrees (the top measurement on the thermometer). No issues, other than the fact that my grill is no longer stainless steel inside. I am tempted to buy another Grease Tray for the future, as I know that that will be the first thing to rust out, and sooner than later. It is not very strong, but they do have replacement parts on the Monument Grills website. Overall, I give this grill a 10 out of 10. I also recommend getting the sear burner. Yes, it is a singular focus--but WHAT A FOCUS it is. ... show more

  • Nice but very light weight
It was fairly easy to assemble and does a good job cooking. The construction is a little lighter than I expected.

  • You won’t find a better propane grill under $400
Love this grill. The searing burner is definitely my favorite feature. If you grill steaks, whether seared or reverse seared, this grill will not disappoint. If there is a negative, it is the the low setting. This grill is easy to overheat with the top down if you set anything higher than lowest. The side burner is tough to keep low enough to simmer but once used to watching the pot, I do not even notice it as a problem. I did like the clear view glass but it does take regular scrubbing to keep clear view. I did end up breaking the glass by forgetting I was doing a quick warm up and taking a phone call. The grill can easily hit 7-900 degrees if the top is down and the 4 burners are on high. I appreciate that feature much more than finding a problem. All that over heat talk aside, with some trial and error I have been able to grill some amazing reverse-sear steaks setting the steaks in the middle of the grill and keeping one, or sometimes both if the weather is colder, of the outer two burners on low. Warm the searing burner up for a couple minutes before transferring the steak. If you cannot grill a great steak on this grill it’s time to give up. Great grill. Great value. ... show more

  • No regrets!
Glad I bought this grill! I’ve never been one to spend a lot of money on a grill because I move so often and I never if a grill will make the move or not but I took a chance on this one and spent more than I usually do and even though I’ve been using it for about 6 months (give or take) I feel like this one will be with me for a while. The stainless is easy to keep clean. I don’t like deep frying in the house because of the residue heating grease leaves so the side burner is nice for that. I haven’t tried the searing side but I will update when I do. The LED dials just look cool. It has a good line up of accessories to buy, some of which I will definitely get. The smoker box just arrived and I’m not sure if it will ever take the place of my Weber Kettle but I will be sure to update about how it compares. ... show more

  • Great grill
My Weber made it 10 years so it was ready for retirement. Upon looking at a variety of different Grills this one caught my eye. Sharpe looking grill! Very easy to put together. Sturdy as well. Burner's flame evenly. Cleans up great. Good buy! Updated 5-13-22 grill cooked about 15 cookouts for the end of the 21 fall season. Never failed me. So far this spring 3 cookouts and I feel like it bets my old Weber. Hope this helps you on your decision. Enjoy peeps! 👌 ... show more
