Very disappointed with this purchase. I have a standing desk and specifically bought this chair because it was supposed to adjust for standing desk height. I am 5'5" which is pretty average for a female and while my desk is set to a comfortable standing height (elbows at 90 degrees), when I use this chair at its maximum height, my arms are forced to reach up uncomfortably high by 3 - 4 inches. I even bought a booster pad to put on the seat to make me sit higher and it does not correct the problem. It may not seem like a big deal but when you spend hours on the computer for work, a slight discomfort creates both physical and mental stress that increases slowly throughout the day until you discontinue using it. I would return this if I could but the assembly for this chair and the way the parts pop together makes it practically impossible to disassemble. ... show more

    • Great chair, but not in the role of an actual drafting chair

I purchased this chair, pretty much knowing what I'd get. I purchased one through Amazon, and a couple others elsewhere due to availability issues on Amazon. As an everyday drafting chair, I don't think it would be that great. But for use in the kitchen as a counter chair, it is awesome. The adjustable height is perfect. It rolls easily, sometimes too easy while getting into. Most importantly, it doesn't damage the floor. All typical counter/stools/chairs have fixed feet that tear wood/laminate floor to shreds over time. If you've every had a bar stool and had kids pull them out to get into and hop in them to get closer to the counter you know exactly what I mean just from the sound alone. It's also very contemporary, which goes with my theme. Positives: + Great Style + Castors + Adjustable Height + Comfortable for use at counter Negatives: - Moderately challenging to assemble due to having to pull/push while putting in bolts - Sometimes rolls too easily while sitting down if height is too high and on solid surface - Arms don't really exist and aren't adjustable, but this doesn't matter if using at a counter/bar - Probably not the best actual drafting chair due to lack of arms, back adjustment, etc ... show more

Because I ship and receive shipment daily in my business, I am damn careful in opening packages. Today, I used an X-Acto knife, with a new blade and held it so it barely cut through the tape. Well, some fool who packaged this, set the cushion up high just under the tape. The cushion now has a 3"-4" slice in its blue cushion. I am returning it tomorrow. Tried to buy a replacement, but they upped the price $30, so will go to eBay for same chair. Attempted to glue it together, but then thought that THEY were the cause of the problem, not me! They should have placed a rectangular cardboard strip on top of all items before the taped the flaps shut. Haste makes waste. ... show more

I purchased this chair because I read reviews that it was good for short people. The seat itself is very comfortable and, with the foot rail, I can use it and be at the correct height to use my chair with a laptop at my desk. It does not lower enough for me to sit in the chair and have my feet reach the ground. It is better than many alternatives, so I am keeping it, but the world's products were not made for people with short legs. ... show more

Wish I had spent more money on a better chair. I invested in replacement wheels, which was a big improvement, but I only had this chair for about a year and a half with occasional use before it started to slowly sink. It no longer keeps me at standing desk height, so i will either have to "fix" it to stay at one position, never to be adjusted again, or will need to replace with a better quality chair. Haven't decided yet, as this was a pretty good fit otherwise. I would suggest investing in a better quality product if you can, especially if it's for extended use. ... show more

Ordered two more chairs to use in place of bar stools. Perfect narrower size for side-by-side placement. Good lower lumbar support. Integrated arms slope down to easily slide under counter. I'm sad because I like to look at the chair but the question has already gone flat. Pros- Super comfortable Thick cushion Supports back Perfect leg resting spot Cons- It goes down almost 2 full inches The seat doesn't stay on pole. (it just rests) This is an overall great chair.
