Love this fan! It’s a great size and the eight fan blades not only look good, but they also move lots of air efficiently. The modern design gives the room an elegant and sleek look and the dimmable LED light provides perfect lighting for all times of the day. The fan is nicely designed and will fit almost any transitional or modern décor and doesn’t really carry a distinct design of its own that would clash with you room design. Light color can be changed from warm yellow (3000K), to soft white (4500K) or bright white (6000K) depending on your installation. The remote control allows you to set the Light brightness and six fan speeds from anywhere in the room. This fan also has a built-in timer which allows you to start your sleep with the fan on and then automatically turn off 2, 4, or 8 hours later as the evening temperatures drop, or you have reached a comfortable sleeping temperature. This fan is almost completely silent at ~30 decibels (advertised). In comparison, most refrigerators are around 45-50 decibels. Installation Notes: IT comes with two down rods (6”, 12”) of which h I would recommend the ~12” to provide enough space for the fan to develop full air flow. It weighs about 22 pounds but once you get the down-rod ball into the rocker bracket, it is just a matter of wiring and closing the housing. Two people might make this easier, but I had no trouble installing by myself. There are lots of wires in the motor housing which can be intimidating however, this fan uses a two-wire feed so it is a simple connection for the positive (load), negative (neutral) and earth (ground). The other wired simply plug into a corresponding, color-coded wire to support the remote-control receiver and other light functions. And, if you are replacing an older three-wire fan (one for light and one for fan) you only need one which frees your wall-switch up to use for something else. Of note: the remote has a “Natural Wind” setting and although the instructions were missing from my unit, I would assume this allows the fan to vary the speed to emulate natural wind outside (best guesstimate) . There is also a “mute” button on the remote which I am clueless on its function. I tried it on a noisy neighbor, but it didn’t work ;-) Some observations: PROS: • 65” wide and moves a lot of air • VERY quiet • Separate control buttons for light and fan • Smooth light diming (by remote) • Three temperature settings 3000K (soft white), 4500K (white), and 6500K (daylight) • Relatively easy to install if you have installed other remote-controlled fans • Cowling and fan hanger are oversized making it much easier to wire and place the controller (this is the most tedious part of installing “smart” fans as the wiring and controller are very hard to install in smaller ceiling fans and consume most of the installation time) • Batteries for the remote control are included CONS: • No App or WIFI capability (Doesn’t work with SIRI or ALEXA) • The blades are painted composite wood, not metal, and can mark easily. Use caution when installing. • Heavy to install (about 22 pounds fully assembled, but worth it) • Requires a ceiling box rated for a fan. A normal electrical box may not hold the weight and movement of this fan. This fan is quiet and sturdy and is of high quality. It has six speeds in both directions and is easily operated with the provided remote. Beautifully effective and quiet in operation and competes with higher-priced fans. Five stars for me

I installed this fan in a bedroom of my home. The product works great installation was easy. The only dislike I have is that the description says that the light is 6500K. I have LED can lights in my house which are 6500K and the two lights do not match.

The media could not be loaded. ORIGINAL REVIEW: So my husband installed this fan over our kitchen table yesterday, the fan itself is so strong. It felt like the air conditioning was on, which is what we were looking for. The only issue we had was that most of the fans that are made now has the light down at the bottom, so the ceiling area seems very dark compared to what we were used to. We had the old school fan with the four lightbulbs that you screw in in the tulip base glass covers. When you have the old-school kind, the light distributes evenly between the ceiling and the bottom half. With these newer design fans with the light only at the bottom, you do not get the brightness like you do with the old ones on the ceiling. It's hard to tell in the pictures, but the ceiling was so much darker for us that we couldn't get used to it, he ended up taking the fan down. The remote control works great, except for a couple of glitches where it changed temperature lighting on its own. We are going to find somewhere else to put this fan, possibly in one of our rentals, or I may see if my sister would like it for over her bed. I would recommend this fan 100% in a room that you don't care about the lighting that much. For a kitchen, I do not recommend this, unless you like a dark gloomy ceiling. I have attached photos/video of how strong the fan is, I tried to capture how dark the ceiling is, but it's very hard to tell in the photos. And I attached a photo of the fan that we ended up buying from a big box store Where we get light on the ceiling. Also, this fan hangs lower than your typical fan so if you have tall people in your home like we do, my son is 6'5" tall, I would recommend only putting this over a table or a bed. UPDATE: My husband actually changed out the fan we had over our bed to this one. Since I don't generally use an overhead light in our room. The reason he moved it is because we REALLY like this fan, minus the bottom only light. (I don't care about the dark ceiling in the bedroom.) I run hot, and I suffer with hot flashes and night sweats several times a day and through the night. This fan is so much more powerful than a standard fan, this will be nice for me while sleeping! I changed my review from 4 stars to 5 because we really like this fan!!! I added the pictures of it in our bedroom!

Two aspects to the ceiling fan merit consideration when you are deciding on a purchase. First, the fan uses a DC motor which, compared to the older style fans, is almost completely silent; there is no hum or buzz, just a quiet breeze. Second, the LED light used by this fan is energy efficient, more durable, and allows you to adjust the color from light yellow through bright white. The dimming feature is also a plus. Very pleased with this fan.
