    • Great product with a correctable flaw
These porch lights with photocell sensor are well engineered and manufactured. Looks like a quality product. Only time will tell how the finish holds up. There is a problem with the photo sensor if the fixture is mounted too close to an overhead obstruction such as a soffit where the up-casting light reflects back down to the up-facing photocell, causing the light to turn off, then the photocell turns it back on, then the reflection turns it off, and so forth. The problem can be corrected by disassembling the fixture (including removing the photocell to get to one of the two screws) and reassembling it with the photocell facing down. Another option is to install the fixture upside down which serves the same purpose but the cover for the bottom light will now be on top, and that cover is not engineered to be as water tight as the top cover. ... show more

What a difference- changed these from traditional white sconces, as we recently painted the exterior of the house and I CANT stop looking at them! They are of superior quality and I love how the top and bottom of the sconce have plastic covers, so the inside doesnt get full of bugs and spider webs (mountain home and lots of spiders and bugs in the summer), so I am super super happy with these. I also love how much light they emit. My husband installed 6 and he said it was fairly easy so 5 stars!!! If your going for a modern look, do not hesitate to buy- they are absolutely stunning in person! ... show more

    • Decent quality, except for the sensor
The media could not be loaded. Build quality of the light itself and style are both nice, but the sensor on this is terrible. When it’s slightly dark, it flickers on and off rapidly and loudly as seen in other reviews; for awhile it was just constantly on—even in daylight—with a loud buzzing sound emanating from the sensor, now it flicks on and off rapidly and noisily during both night and day. I put a few lines of painters tape over the top light to stop it from triggering the sensor (turns out the painters tape only worked briefly, it returned to a constant buzzing in both darkness and daylight shortly thereafter). I think the only workaround is to cover the sensor entirely and put in smart bulbs. I’d upload more videos of the variant flickers/noises but I’m only allowed one. Edit: I covered the sensor and put in smart bulbs. After a week or so of being fine the sensor started buzzing nonstop whether the lights are on or off and whether the sensor is covered or not. It. Installation was super easy and quick! My husband was able to install the lights in no time. They’re so sturdy and great especially for the price! We ordered the 6-pack LUNO R20 Dimmable LED Bulb in Neutral White Medium, which are compatible. If you want a softer white, they have a softer color and they have a cooler color too. The lights look great, feel well made and allow you the flexibility to use your own bulbs. The dusk to dawn feature works well. I do want to point out that if you are installing under a roof, the light from the top bulb may bounce back and cause the light to flicker due to the sensor being on the top. I fixed this by using construction adhesive to attach a piece of plastic about an inch over the sensors. This provided enough light to make the light turn off during the day, but also blocked the light from bouncing off the ceiling back to the censor. ... show more

I love these lights! They are a beautiful design and very well made. I bought a set of 2 to hang on either side of my garage door. And I liked them so much that I bought a set of 4 - one next to my front door and 3 on my balcony. The first set operates with a motion detector that I already had and the second set operates with a photocell. Both are great depending on how you want to use them. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I installed as expected. Once it is dark enough, the lights get turned on by the photo sensor. However, the lights keep flickering, turning on and off as the same illumination coming from the bulb makes the photo sensor think it’s day again ! Not sure what to do or how to adjust the sensitivity, if that is possible. See video. ... show more

I installed this pair of lights approximately 20’ apart on both sides of my garage door. Product worked well for five days and then one light would not go off(bright daylight). Two days later the other light failed to come on at dark, I placed a piece of electrical tape over photo cell and nothing. Nice looking lights but photo cells are of poor quality. ... show more
