These are great! Use them in our gazebo with magnetic hooks. Love that the one remote controls both of the lights. Also love that there is an attached gadget allowing the cord to be shortened if needed, it just makes them more versatile. My husband wanted rechargeable, but I hate bringing things in all the time and remembering to charge them, so I’m happy with the batteries. There’s a timer ability on the remote, so hopefully the batteries last awhile (8 AAs total for both lights together). The cord base that houses the batteries looks sturdy and well protected from the elements. They aren’t large but look good with two hanging next to each other — pay attention to dimensions if it matters to you. They would also be great hanging from a shepherds hook, which is an idea we’re toying with. ... show more

We really loved these on a recent lean-to camping trip. I liked that they are battery operated . It seems there’s never enough direct sunlight when camping to enable solar lights to work. They were easy to assemble and our grandkids thought they looked very cool.

These lanterns are so cute! Just note that when installing the batteries, 2 of the AAs go on one side and you need to flip the battery holder over to install the other 2 batteries. The light quality is nice. It is an ambient light. I used it at an outdoor market, to give my tent boho vibes.
