I bought this to use in my garage. I like the look of it. It is extremely well made and should easily withstand harsher conditions than it will see inside my garage. The color is uniform and I ordered a longer minka aire downrod to match. The instructions were adequate and I needed to refer to them, even though I am an electrician who has installed hundreds of ceiling fans, to figure out what to do with the rubber cap included. Turns out it seals the top of the downrod. I used a universal remote control and the fan operates silently and without ANY wobble at high speed. ... show more

Really nice units. Well made and super quiet. I have been using fans on my porch for nearly 18 years and was happy, when they really needed to be replaced I looked for something better, I found it here. One issue I have is bee's that for some reason want to nest in my old fans, these are really well sealed...don't think the bee's have a chance.
