It's an animal for small jobs around the house. I don't have a large property with lots of trees, but I do have some large overgrown tree limbs that needed pruning and some stumps that needed to be trimmed down. It handled it perfectly and quickly. I like how you can use your dewalt batteries, however I noticed they get a little hot while using them and they don't last too long. I hope it's not damaging my batteries. Time will tell this. The chain will need to be tightened often, but it's not difficult. Overall it suits my needs and I'm happy with it. The media could not be loaded. So I bought this for a few jobs around the yard and a project in the woods. I’m not cutting logs but trimming branches mostly. It’s very lightweight and compact and cuts really well. I sawed off quite a few branches along my property line and this thing zipped through them in seconds. It only used one bar of juice on a 2ah battery too. So far I love this little saw. It’s definitely worth the price although time will tell how durable it is long term, but so far it’s a great value for the money and worth it. ... show more

    • This is the best possible tool for trimming the branches that are too big for loppers.
I'm using this tool to trim trees and shrubs around the yard. It is light and easy to hold and use. It has been used on trees and limbs up to about 7 inches in diameter. I depend on this so much, that when or if it breaks I will order another immediately.

Very impressed for the price- already had lots of 20v batteries, so added this saw. Works well on small limbs and brush. Chain is tiny and will bind, but fairly simple to undo side and reattach. Extra chain in package with oil and screwdriver (pathetic quality) are nice additions. Very handy tool,
