I was skeptical after a comparison of similar saws...but I'm glad that I bought this one! I would buy it again! I have two big chain saws, 2 loppers and a pruner ..but I'm glad that I have this mini chainsaw! I've used it a lot- replacing even jobs of the big chainsaw (within reason) and loppers. It's light and easy to handle. Battery lasts long and is easy to take out for charging. I wish I had bought it sooner! Chain needs to be oiled if you are using it often. I'm not sure if the manual states that. (It's common sense but...)

Bought this for my husband for Christmas, he made fun of it. This spring he got it out and used and said I did good at getting it for him. Works great at cutting. I got to use and was very impressed on how it works. Would highly recommend it.

I was pretty amazed at what this little saw can do! I had six old-ugly-large invasive species shrub-threes to remove. Each had multiple trunks, 3-5" diameter with some pretty hefty limbs out from there. It was a multi-day job, started with my gas chainsaw - made sense. I ordered this saw thinking maybe it could cut back the smaller stuff so I could remove the bigger stuff with the gas chainsaw without so much interference. Well, the gas chainsaw was never needed again! This little saw is a compact beast - easily cutting back everything, including multiple 4-5" trunks - for the 5" just rotating the saw around the perimeter a bit. Also, I went well over an hour of near continuous use until the 1st battery needed recharging - another nice surprise. Just practice your cuts a little bit before 1st use to get the feel of it, always think safety ... and then "go to town" with it".

I had several thicker branches (3") on my maple tree that were dead and needed to be taken off. I used this chainsaw and it cut through them like butter! I love this thing! I can't speak to the battery life yet - I just got it. I do, however, have trouble releasing the batteries from the saw. Hopefully this won't be a huge problem. It came fully charged with the chain on it and ready to go! I highly recommend this!

update, was able to contact seller properly and they are sending new product, it arrived very quickly, product works great, as I expected it to I purchased this product a few months back and did not get a chance to use until now. After charging both batteries the chainsaw will not run, it started to smoke, there is a rattling within the product. There is no clear warranty or support info.

This is the 2nd one of these I have bought. The reason I bought a 2nd one is so I had a back up, because I love it so much. This second one does the same great job EXCEPT it takes an iron man to remove the battery. After using this for a couple weeks, it was time to change the battery. For the life of me, I could not get it off. Wasn't easy for my husband either, but he finally got it off. That is not very convenient when I am trying to get things done when my husband isn't around. Otherwise, this is a fantastic tool.

The media could not be loaded. This little chainsaw is perfect for me - no, it doesn't have the power or capability of a full-sized chainsaw, but for small branches and volunteer trees, this does the trick! I wish that the batteries lasted a bit longer, but generally I don't use it for large amounts of trimming/clearing, so it's not a huge deal to recharge frequently. When trimming branches that are 2-3" I find that rotating the Mini Chainsaw around the branch works best. If I could change one thing, it would be the positioning of the two buttons - I have a small hand, but the buttons are just a little too close together to hold down at the same time, meaning that I have to press with the side of my thumb.
