I ordered 3 sets of 2. One of the lights didn't work. I thought it just needed to be charged so I charges it outside all day. No luck. I'm disappointed about it. Gonna email the seller to see if they can replace it. Otherwise I like them. They're pretty and last all night.

These solar lights are great and work perfectly. I've had them up for several months on my deck and they reliably turn on when they receive a full charge from the sun. On cloudy days they still get a bit of a charge but won't stay on as long. With a full charge on a sunny day it's not at all unusual for the lights to still be on when we get up around 6am. I'm going to buy more to use for my holiday decorations around the house! I've seen some people comment that they don't put off much light and that is true. I'm not trying to use them as a light source, just for a bit of sparkle and they are perfectly visible for that use. ... show more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I chose these to wrap around the twisty trunk of a pine tree that is branchless 2/3 of the way up and am not disappointed! Easy set up, the solar panel has a ground stake and there is enough cord length between it and the lights. It would be great if there were a loop or something to help secure the end, but I just stuck it behind a piece of bark for now, also, the cord having a removable plug and the panel having a port would be ideal, but for $9, I have no complaints. The various modes are a lot of fun to try out. I was worried while installing them as I tried them they'd flash on for a second and immediately turned on, having called it a loss, I was surprised when they turned on after dusk. The tree I used them on acts as an entrance into the whole of our backyard and gardens, next up is to install my gated arch alongside the tree and get some vines growing! ... show more

These colorful solar string lights are a great deal. Plenty of length to go across our large deck. I put one strand underneath the deck where our swings are so we can hang out there at night. They work so great that I bought a 2nd strand to put on the top railing of the deck, too. They turn on soon as it gets dark and depending on how cloudy the day was, stay on between 4-7 hours! ... show more
