  • Great fitness tracker without being a distraction to your life
Color: Jasper Green
This is primarily a fitness tracker. It's not your fancy smart watch that can almost replace your phone! That being said - it is a great fitness tracker, but a bit expensive for not having the fancy UI (which - the grayscale face is what I like about it). Also, since I'm moderately active (not an athlete by any means but I do work out every single day) I bought this watch as a replacement for my 7 year old vivosmart HR. I chose this precisely because I didn't want all the bells and whistles of fancy smartwatches that just serve as another distraction in everyday life. Pros - doesn't have a square face. Looks like a normal watch! It's also not bulky, although it does say it's bulkier than the Lily 2 Classic (which I worried about but it's really not much of a difference) - connects with your phone via the Garmin Connect app, which you can sync with Strava, Be Well (formerly Walker Tracker), My Fitness Pal (two way syncing - it takes your weight and calories from MFP) - SEAMLESSLY synced with my existing Garmin app - it has GPS!! - stress and body battery tracking are actually quite useful. - includes breathwork exercises! And reminders to move throughout the day - and on top of that, also gives you example exercises and prompts like sitting exercises. I'm amazed that everytime it's a different chair activity / stretch exercise (my old watch just used to say "Move!"). Any watch prompts also come with a vibration so that you don't have to look down at your watch while doing breathwork or running or whatever activity you are trying to track. - you can split your Dance exercise into songs - the Garmin Connect app is really neat. (not so many users like Strava but it is great for your personal analytics) you can also customize what notifications go to your watch so that it not just buzzing constantly all day -there are also other features like blood pressure, weight etc that you can manually add to the app and track -it syncs with your calendar -the watch widgets (what you display on your watch face) and the watch face itself are customizable. -gives you a lot if tips and analysis about your day. Also gives a lot of encouragement during your workouts! -the GPS does drain the battery much faster, but even with that, the battery life still lasts over 5 days even when it didn't charge fully - it's really CUTE! Cons - wish it came in black too - if you were used to lower tech fitness tracker / smartwatch this one takes a bit of learning to learn all the motions (two buttons, a middle touch button, and swiping in four directions) and the features that correspond to them - the "manual" that comes with it is useless lol. Just tells you to go online (which - Garmin stuff online are useful) - software updates can take longer (couple minutes or so) - I haven't figured out how I can add the music controls to the UI for when it's recording a run - the recording of activities are sometimes needlessly specific, but kinda cool for your own recording I guess. For example, I just wanted to record Dance but I can also choose what type of dance it is (zumba, pop, afro beat, video game etc) - the very first time I wore it during a workout and I sweated, it gave me a bit of irritation but I'd attribute that to it's "newness" / VOCs just emanating from the straps since it's new and just came out of the box - proprietary charging cable (still USB C on the other side though) - the vibration is so light compared to the old vivosmart. All my important phone notifications go through my watch (since my phone is always silent) but even at max vibration it's easy to miss it. -compared to my last watch, this took longer to "wake up" when I look at it. Maybe takes half a second -Garmin recommends to wear it two finger widths below your wrist but I personally find that too low for watch-wearing Overall 5 stars for me - and like what others said, if you know exactly what you got it for, you will be happy about it. Otherwise if you are looking for fancy schmancy smart watch not for its fitness tracking but for its digital, hi tech features - this watch might not be the right one for you. ... show more

  • Fantastic Watch
Color: Lunar Gold with Bone
I love this watch. I have a very small wrist, so small that its a problem finding a watch that will fit on my arm. I am also a runner so Garmin was already top of my list. If you are unsure which Garmin Lily 2 to choose, I would really recommend you spend the extra $50 and go with the Active. I had the Lily 2 for a week or so and decided to upgrade. The active has so many more features. The Lily 2 is 35mm and the Lily 2 Active is 38mm. This is still very small for a smartwatch and it has double the battery life of the Lily 2. You also get the Sleep Coach, Garmin Pay, custom text responses, more accurate tracking for runs, and lots of other little features. Also, its a beautiful watch. The simple white and gold display is really nice for daily wearing. ... show more

  • ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stylish, Smart, and Surprisingly Motivating
Color: Lunar Gold with Bone
I’ve been using the Garmin Lily 2 Active, and I honestly love everything about it. As someone with a petite wrist, finding a smartwatch that doesn’t look bulky or awkward has always been a challenge — but this one is the perfect size. Sleek, feminine, and just the right balance of fashion and function. 💖 Why I Love It: • Fits my wrist beautifully — finally, a smartwatch that looks elegant and doesn’t overwhelm my arm! • Easy to use and read — the display is crisp and user-friendly, and I never feel like I’m fumbling through menus. • Motivates me to move — I find myself checking my steps and staying more active throughout the day, just because it’s so satisfying to track. • Stress tracking is a game changer — it’s amazing how often it alerts me when I didn’t even realize I was tense. It’s been a gentle reminder to pause and breathe. • Beautiful design — I’ve received multiple compliments on how chic it looks, and it easily transitions from workout wear to casual or even dressy outfits. If you want something that feels like a piece of jewelry but acts like a full-featured fitness tracker, this is it. It’s functional, stylish, and truly supports your well-being in more ways than one. ... show more

  • Works well, looks great!
Color: Lunar Gold with Bone
I really like this watch. It looks great and is not too big like many of Garmin’s other styles. It’s very durable (zero scratches in seven months of heavy use). The app is easy to use, and the watch was easy to set up and connect to it. Rarely, you need to close out the app and reopen it if it’s not syncing. It tracks activity, sleep, steps, heart rate, HRV, O2 at night, body battery, weight, hydration, and more. It also gives you an adjusted fitness age based on many of the above items. With this style there are not as many watch face options, and you can’t personalize which widgets you want on the watch face (heart rate, steps, etc.). It’s just whatever two or three they have preset for that face. There are also less activity options than some of the other styles, but you can just do an activity as ‘other’ and reclassify it after your workout with the full list of activities in the app. Most of the common activity/workout options are available, though. The Lily 2 active has more options than the Lily 2. These were not dealbreakers for me as I wanted something small and more stylish with the health tracking benefits. ... show more

  • Great watch!
Color: Lunar Gold with Bone
I am not a person who has worn a watch in the last 20 years. I decided to go from no watch to this watch after becoming more serious about keeping track of my steps, sleep and exercise patterns, and this watch has been great since I purchased six months ago. Already, I would buy it again! Battery life it great - lasts two weeks on a full charge. I was interested in a smaller watch that wasn't bulky, and this watch looks more like a traditional watch without a huge face. Pairs easily with other devices and the display has different options that are easy to read. Overall great watch. ... show more

  • Apple to Garmin
Color: Lunar Gold with Bone
I’ve been an avid Apple Watch user for probably close to a decade. Through all those years I’ve hated the square look of it, always preferring the classic circle. For me, a watch that measured your usual health biometrics, that was casually simple, a circle, and still elegant in its own right was important. I didn’t need it to be a full smartwatch. As long as I could control my music with my watch, get my health data, phone notifications, and it had a reasonable battery then it was a win. After much research I settled on the Garmin Lily 2 Active. I love its monochromatic screen with its clock options, its simple menu, the buttons, the simplicity while still being able to customize. I love this watch. I can’t imagine using another watch at this point. It’s so comfortable. The band is soft and yet still beautiful. The screen can be a bit unresponsive at times but still worth it. Again, I love this watch. I’m so glad I switched. I hated the clunky square that was too noisy on my wrist. This is so simple but so perfect. It gives you what you need. ... show more

  • Perfect fitbit replacement
Color: Lunar Gold with Bone
Former fitbit user, but didn't want to move to Google. Absolutely love this watch. Was debating on which one, but the simple black and white interface is perfect and doesn't distract. Very easy to use, and doesn't hang up like the versa used to. I got champagne gold, but wish I would have bought silver and just bought aftermarket band. The product is fantastic and stays charged for a week+. If you want a solid replacement for fitbit without colored screen, you'll love it ... show more

  • Not worth a dime. Unless you just really want a watch that tells time.
Color: Lunar Gold with Bone
I REALLY wanted to like the Garmin Lily 2 Active. It’s beautiful, lightweight, and on paper it had everything I was looking for. Unfortunately, my experience was incredibly frustrating and I ended up returning it. The biggest issue was that the watch would randomly lock itself. It would just freeze or refuse to respond. When I tried unlocking it through the Garmin Connect app, the watch wouldn’t even react. A few times, I even got random glitchy lines across the middle of the screen, which honestly felt like a hardware or display issue. It would also randomly stop syncing from my phone. And not just once... this was happening basically every day. I constantly had to go into my Bluetooth settings, delete the device, and re-add it from scratch just to get it to connect again. That’s not something you should have to do daily with a smartwatch. Tracking was also disappointing. Sleep tracking was very inconsistent, some nights it barely recorded anything or gave numbers that didn’t make sense. Step tracking didn’t feel accurate either. I compared to my own mental calculations, my fitbit and my apple watch. For a fitness watch, that’s kind of the whole point, so that was a deal breaker for me. The app connection overall felt unreliable. When the watch locked up or unsynced, the app didn’t help much. It’s such a shame because the design is gorgeous and I really wanted this to be my everyday watch. But between the random lockups, screen glitches, constant Bluetooth issues, and unreliable tracking, it was an epic fail for me. I returned it and went with something else. Really disappointing experience. ... show more
