About 8 years ago I installed a Intex Salt Filter System on my 24' above ground pool. I learned real quick that the Intex hoses and parts are not standard pipe (1 1/2 or 1 1/4 inch) pipe treads so you have to use adapters or just clamp the Intex hose on regular barb pipe fitting on other pools!!! Over the years I have had to replace my Intex hoses and fitting and found that Bestway uses the same size fittings (MM?) as Intext. I love this fountain!!! I have used the multi-tier fountains that sit in the middle of the pool and look really nice like a Greek or Roman fountain but they use a hose from the return line to the fountain head! So every time you want to use the pool you have to drag it out of the way and put it back when your done swimming! And if you get strong winds it will move the fountain around. Several times I have found the fountain up against my sidewall and the pool water going on the ground and not in the pool! Once I was out of town and it did that till the water got below the skimmer (it was on a timer). With this you can adjust the stream by turning the sleeve that goes over the part that screws into the 1 1/2 inch return the jet eyeball screws into. With it fully closed my fountain hits the middle of the pool. You can also adjust the angle of the two arms to change where the water stream hits, But what I like best is it doesn't move around in strong winds and if the kids want to play in the pool we don't have to move it around so no one trips over the fountain hose. If the kids don't want the fountain on just turn the pump off while they swim!! But just like the other fountains I have found that the stream of water going in the pool seem (or least feels like) the pool water temperature is a little cooler!

I normally don’t do bad reviews, if the product was bad, I just send it back get the refund or count my losses BUT no way! I don’t want no one else to buy this and have the same issue! I brought this for a huge Juneteenth BBQ we are having tomorrow to attach to my grandsons pool to enjoy with their small family company but SURPRISE it DOES NOT FIT!!! Not only did it not fit the boys pool (INTEX) BUT it also did not fit the adult pool either- (BESTWAY) Both above ground pools the intake valve the (ABOVE GROUND RETURN GASKET) this do NOT FIT on that part! As a matter of fact ALL of the pieces are way too small! I tried several different ways to get it to fit but it doesn’t fit! Then, this was a big waste of my money because I can’t send it back my son tried to unscrew one of the sprinkler nozzles so I could repack it and send it back and it cracked! If you have a Bestway product or Intex this will not FIT!!! So do NOT BUY THIS!

I was really looking forward to setting this up! Unfortunately, the threads in my unground pool don’t want to screw into the fittings. There are several ways to attach, but none worked out for me. I’m going to try and retrofit it with other attachments and see if I can get it going. It sits inside the pool right at the edge so when it works, it will be set low enough in the water that it will look really nicely placed. Be sure you not only check your diameter, which was fine for me, but also the threads on the pipe it will be attached to.

This doesn’t fit a funsicle pool. We have a 15, x 33” pool and we bought $20 worth pvc parts to try to modify it, and it still didn’t work. I would have loved to give it a try, unfortunately sending it back. PS: if you know what adapters to buy please share!

I had to get an adapter for this to fit my above ground pool but it works great. My pool water stayed so hot with the height temperature and this helped cool it down a lot. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Pool was installed last summer, so updated parts on our pool. Didn’t fit any area of pool. Cheaply made, wouldn’t have lasted anyways.
