Was able to choose the color and type of fabric - selected black Terylast fabric with a 10 year warranty. It has a black aluminum pole and ribs, with crank to open/close and tilt in one direction. It has a tie strap with velcro to keep it closed. The pole comes in two sections with a metal spring loaded button (push it in, slide pole in, and button pops out and clicks into place) to connect it securely. Umbrella appears to be made well. The height is nice and tall. Does not include cover but company sells covers separately. Instructions say you can remove fabric canopy to replace or clean. The fabric has pockets that the ribs slide into. It does not seem to relax very well on its own when trying to close it and you have to manually push it down to close with tie strap, feels like it resists closing, and if you continue to crank it will start to open again. Make sure you pair it with an umbrella base that is the recommended weight (see Midtown Umbrellas website for weight recommendation based on umbrella size).

Very happy with this brand. I replaced my old umbrellas which faded badly and were a little wonky to operate. These have not faded after a year. They operate smoothly and look great on the patio. I'm staying with this brand

This sturdy umbrella has held up well over the past two seasons and will be used for the third year next summer. Solid color with no fading. It is easy to put up and take down; very functional. The price is a bargain for the durability, and it fits our patio table perfectly. Great umbrella that I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again.

Received this yesterday (February 10, 2026) packaging box was damaged. Inside was packed properly, no damage to umbrella. Once in place it appeared small to what I've had in the past from other vendors, first time purchasing 6ft round, measured it... short by a bit over 6inches. NOT 6ft. It's exhausting ordering from Amazon approved vendors to receive damaged, incorrect items. BUT will keep this item, it is lovely, perfect color & durable, quality is great. So impressed. Just wish I received the correct size😔 giving this rating due to the quality
