  • A nice midsize refrigeration unit
This is a great refrigerator! I bought it for my seminary room and it has more space than I need and it works perfectly. I am impressed with the freezer shelf, which actually works great. I am very satisfied.

  • Just the right size!
This mini refrigerator was perfect for my needs. It was just the right size and keeps everything cold on the recommended medium setting. It shipped immediately after ordering, was delivered within 2 days and was easy to remove from the shipping container. It is quiet and a good deal for the price.

  • Why didn't I do this a long time ago?
I finally got fed up with my husband using up all of my kitchen fridge space for beer and soda, so I went shopping for a beverage fridge. At first I looked at refrigerators designated "beverage", but they were kind of fancy and quite expensive. I finally decided to take a chance with this one, even though it was quite a bit cheaper than the fancy fridges. I've had it for about a month now, and I love it! We can fit a lot of beverages, wine and other small items in it, and now I have so much more room in my kitchen fridge! We keep it in our TV room, and the noise is barely noticeable. I've set it at about the medium temp setting, and the sodas on the top shelf get just a tiny bit icy, which is just how I like it. Why didn't I do this a long time ago? ... show more

  • No interior light!
Update after a few years! I probably would not buy this again if I had the chance to do it over. The sensor that controls the starting and stopping of the fridge is at the end of a thin tube or wire that runs beneath the freezer compartment and a slotted plastic tray. That very quickly gets covered with white frost/ice and is not even visible. I'm surprised I didn't break it when I was trying to hurry up the defrost process by prying the ice loose. It also needs defrosting quite often to prevent ice buildup that prevents closing the freezer "door". The biggest problem is that the freezer compartment is very ineffective and doesn't keep fruit or vegetables frozen solid. I wouldn't dare keep meat in there for long. If you set it for a colder temperature it runs on and on and only shuts off for a brief time. Otherwise it cycles on and off very often. It's a nice little fridge, fairly quiet, but there isn't an interior light that turns on when you open the door! The freezer compartment door is just plastic with vents in it so it quickly gets ice built up around the edges and doesn't close well, then needs to be defrosted. This is probably similar in all single door mini fridges. Double doors are better but more expensive and seem to be a little less efficient, electricity wise. ... show more

  • Still working after 6 1/2 years
I do not expect appliances to last more than 5 years anymore but this refrigerator still going and I bought it back in September 2017. During the summer it has to be defrosted relatively often because of the humidity but I'm actually surprised it still working just fine. The only feature that I do not use for anything is the soda can slot. Also, the freezer is okay for a couple of things but doesn't freeze everything. ... show more

  • Great price for a well-rounded product
This fridge is great. This size was cheaper than a few smaller sizes, so I went with it. The freezer is large enough to fit an ice tray or 2 and/or some frozen meals, and there are a good number of shelves in the fridge and on the door to hold a lot. The vertical can holder is great for holding quite a few cans, and it not super bulky. ... show more

  • Quiet, cold little fridge.
Initially I was going to reverse the door but the manual said if the fridge gets tipped on its side for any period of time, you have to wait 24 hours to plug it in (as opposed to 3 or 4 hours). I don't know how important it is to actually follow that rule, but heck, it's my first mini-fridge and my priority was cold beverages. I got the 3.3 cubic foot. It deep and holds a lot. You can also remove the shelves which is handy. I love it so far. It's cold, and super quiet. It's in my office and I don't like a lot of noise when I'm working -- I don't notice it at all. I keep my dog's little icecream cups in the freezer for when he comes to hangout. Size-wise, the freezer could probably hold two frozen meals. I'm not usually one to buy a warranty but it was cheap and the reviews on its customer service were good so I figured 'what the hell.' With my luck, the fridge will break on day 366. ... show more

  • Beware about warranty/ Extension cord/ Use on carpet
I want to share and prevent the same problem I had. 1. Unit stop working Mar/11/2011 and purchased on May/30/2020. 2. Contact customer service and it is voided warranty because I use extension cord. See image what extension cord I used. I used the same type of this applicant cord for a couple of refrigerators with no problem. This is only one refrigerator that cannot use. It is ok if it is last for a couple years with this price but not 8 month. 3. Refrigerator cord is 5.5 feet. If you cannot have enough length to get away from carpet you need a tray when defrost. It will melt all over to your carpet. That is the main reason I use applicant extension cord. I will pay extra for a new company which has auto defrost but it still cheaper to have electrician to install outlet for $200 refrigerator. ... show more
