Coming into this with no knowledge of thermodynamics and how liquids freeze it took a little bit of study to understand why slushies made by this machine need to have more then 4% sugar, or less than 9% alcohol. As long as you do your math right and get your proportions in order - this is a great little machine for the kitchen counter. Word of warning: The packaging is set up such that you cut the tape on the bottom and lift the box off the machine. When we were unpackaging it - we didn't know this and the lifted the box and the machine took a good 3 foot fall into a tile floor. Fortunately the machine worked after. Kudo's to Shark/Ninja for being a highly innovative company!

It’s great; only thing is the container has a weird crevice that traps juice that you cannot access. We’ve tried to take it apart but haven’t found the best way to. Not sure how to alleviate this issue but we still love this machine!

I love this Slushi maker. Made a nice adult beverage, Orange Mimosa's, and they had such a nice texture. So easy to use, and if your ingredients have been chilled, it sets up and ready to dispense fairly quickly. Cleaning is a breeze, especially using the rinse cycle built in. Disassembles for cleaning very easily, and reassembles just as easily. Wish it came with a recipe book (mine didn't), but they have a lot of recipes on their website, and a web search will find you even more. Love that it has five presets for types of drinks you are making, and that you can also tweak the temperature, to finetune to texture you want. Need to follow the easy sugar/alcohol concentration guidelines to get the desired texture, but that is easy to learn. Also, if you want a sugar substitute, many will not work, so be careful. I got the substitute Allulose, which a few others said will work, and in my experience so far, they are right. Very Happy with this Purchase.

I love this product. I have literally been making everything into a slushy, like juices, sodas, coffee and made some shakes. I got a refurbished so the price was really good. I love my slushy machine!

La máquina llegó y nunca funcionó, solo la primera vez hizo un poco de hielo o slushi, luego nunca más, seguimos instrucciones al pie de la letra, perdí mi dinero. Solo me dan de opción devolverla y como vivo en República Dominicana UPS me cobraría el equivalente a us$200 y algo mas y otros courrier s mucho más porlo que no puedo devolverla y no me dan otra opción, me atendieron como 4-5 agentes de Amazon y todos con lo mismo que no hay nada que hacer, solo que gaste más de$350 de dólares comprando una marca que pensé era la mejor y ahora perdí el dinero y perdí el equipo y esoooo que soy cliente Prime!
