  • Ridiculously helpful - no more jumble!
Color: Gray Size: 8.5 Quarts
I adore this Ninja Possible Cooker! It has completely replaced the usual jumble of pots and pans that used to occupy several cabinets. Like all Ninja products I've tried, it's well-made and also intuitive, very easy to use in place of a variety of cooking methods. Paired with our Ninja air fryer, it's really all that's needed for daily meal cooking and prep. I rarely use the stove-top, oven, or microwave anymore now I have this. Sized for 1 to the whole family - The Foodi is large enough to cook a full Sunday roast dinner that will feed an average family, but it can also be used to create dishes perfect for 1-2 people. Use it slow-cooker mode for 8-12 servings of homemade soups and stews, or craft a large loaf of bread using the proofing and baking settings. Fast Heating and cooking - The Ninja PossibleCooker heats up much faster than a standard burner or oven, and is able to sustain that heat as long as it takes to cook your meal to perfection. It takes between 50%-75% of the usual time until is food is ready, meaning hungry kids and guests can tuck in all the quicker. The cooker also keeps food warm, so latecomers can still enjoy a hot meal. Versatile for any taste - Whatever you like to eat, you can create it with this cooker! It's great for casseroles, stews, roasts, and bread. I like that it works with any type of diet or food preference. For a simple and quick meal, sear your favorite protein with a simple sauce. I like a roasted chicken breast with lemon-infused soy sauce and a little garlic. Pair with steamed vegetables or al dente pasta for a healthy and filling supper. Easy to Clean - Cleaning is simple! Just wipe down the inner pot once cool and wash it with hot soapy water. So far I haven't had any issues with baked on items, so haven't needed to scrub. I don't use the dishwasher for this but I believe it is dishwasher safe. The outer unit stays pretty clean but can be wiped down with a damp cloth if needed. No Leaks - The unit hasn't leaked for me and seems very reliable. Easy Customization and Replacement Parts - Something I've really appreciated is the option to customize the Foodi with different accessories. There are many add-ons to help you better develop the recipes you like best. Finding replacement parts is also very easy and they are reasonably priced. Note: I've used the included spoon as well as silicone and wooden utensils and had no issues. I wouldn't recommend metal or sharp-edged spoons or spatulas with this. ... show more

  • The greatest slow cooker of all time
Color: Black Size: 8.5 Quarts
I not only would give this five stars, but I would give this slow cooker 10 ❤️. Cooks beautifully and evenly. You can lift the pot out of the base. It’s wide, low shape makes easier stirring, browning, less digging around. Nonstick surface is easier cleanup and no charred food on the bottom. I’ve had a few different kind of crockpots in my life, but this is by far the superior choice. ... show more

  • Great Product By Ninja
Color: Gray Size: 8.5 Quarts
If you're looking for a slow cooker, this is a great one. i been having this one over 3 years and never had a problem with it. Nice thick and strong pan, and it still looks and work like new. Nice size to fit on a shelf when not in use and to fit on your counter when you are ready to start cooking, and can heat up 500°F and has a timer so you can keep the food warm. You can cook on the base or put it in the oven to cook too. this can replace multiple cookwear in your kitchen. This is a great product by ninja ... show more

  • Ninja foodi crockpot
Color: Gray Size: 8.5 Quarts
When the Ninja Foodi PossibleCooker PRO 8.5 (MC1001) arrived on my counter, it instantly replaced three other appliances. This isn't just an upgrade from a standard slow cooker—it’s a revolutionary piece of equipment that truly earns the "PRO" in its name. It manages to combine the best parts of a Dutch oven, a traditional crockpot, and a high-performance burner into one elegant, non-stick vessel. What makes this model a kitchen hero? First, the 8.5-quart capacity and rectangular shape. This is a game-changer for anyone who cooks large meals, roasts, or racks of ribs. Unlike round slow cookers that force everything into a pile, the elongated shape accommodates a full chicken or a large pork shoulder perfectly, ensuring even cooking and better browning. Second, the "PossibleCooker" function is the most significant selling point. I can finally sear and sauté ingredients right in the pot before hitting the slow-cook button. No more dirtying a separate pan to brown the onions or sear the beef short ribs! This step, which is crucial for deep flavor development, is now seamless and contained. I build the entire flavor base for my stews, braises, and chilies in one go, locking in those savory Maillard reaction flavors before the slow simmer begins. Finally, the pot itself is a dream. It’s significantly lighter than the stoneware crocks of old, making it much easier to lift, serve from, and clean. The non-stick coating is robust, and everything—from sticky caramelizing sugars to burnt cheese—wipes away effortlessly. If you have a busy family, meal prep, or just appreciate appliances that make high-quality cooking simpler, the Ninja Foodi PossibleCooker PRO 8.5 is an absolute must-have. It’s an investment in efficiency and delicious, one-pot meals. ... show more

  • The Cat's Pajamas
Color: Gray Size: 8.5 Quarts
This might sound like exaggeration, but this is the easily the best appliance purchase I've ever made. Yes, it does 17,000 different things, but the three below are why it's something I can't do without: (1) It's the best crock pot I've ever owned because it's non-stick. I've re-warmed queso in it multiple times on vacation, left it on high/burned the queso, and it still just slides out of the pot. (2) Any meals (stews/chicken spaghetti/etc) that require braising/sautéing before making a "soup" inevitably dirty every pan in your kitchen. You need a pan, then a dutch oven, etc. But this thing lets you do it all in the same vessel, meaning you can make a stew with an actual 1-nonstick-pan cleanup. I own a certain fancy-french-brand dutch oven (and love it), but I frequently choose this just because of the cleanup convenience. (3) Here's the real star of the show: sous vide. (If you haven't tried sous vide, you're missing out.) But the thing about cooking sous vide is that the equipment (which I own) is bulky and in-the-way while it cooks. If you only want to do a couple of pork chops, it seems like too much hassle; but if you're cooking (eg) ribs for 12 hours (or God-forbid a 29-hour brisket), you have to deal with the equipment being on your counter for the whole cook time. But this little dog will sous-vide like a champ while in it's normal counter space. The capacity is more than you'd expect, too -- this week, I did two medium racks of ribs, and two point-cut briskets, in one cooking session each. I now use sous-vide constantly because of the convenience, and I only use my $200 sous-vide setup if I'm doing a whole brisket or cooking for a crowd. I've owned this for a year or so, and it's held up with almost daily use. But, as I told my wife: I'd rent this yearly for the sale price. It's the absolute cat's-pajamas. UPDATE: ok, so I have one small complaint—the timer won’t allow a time >12 hours. This isn’t a problem in most contexts, but it DOES mean that you have to set a reminder to “refresh” the timer in the middle of a longer cook (ie, sous-vide pulled-pork at ~19 hours). This is a small complaint, but I’d much appreciate a 24/hr timer if there’s a Gen 2. ... show more

  • Updated Review, Taking This Down to 4 Stars Updated Review, Taking This Down to 4 Stars
Color: Midnight Blue Size: 6.5-Quart
UPDATE - After using this crockpot for several months, I need to update this review to be honest. I'm taking a star off. Beware, the high setting puts the unit into a constant high boil, which I would not consider appropriate to a slow cooker, as I would never leave the house with this unit on high. Everything else I wrote in the original review remains true, and I use this a lot. But I had to end up buying a second crock pot for when I want to slow cook on a high setting. Since I wanted one unit that could do everything, that disappointed me. ORIGINAL REVIEW This cooker has exceeded my expectations. I just built a tiny house. It has a full kitchen, except code does not permit a stove. I spent a lot of time reading reviews of cooking appliances. A bit over 10 years ago I bought a searing Ninja slow cooker. It was okay, but took so long to saute/sear that I usually used a separate frying pan. Not so with this newer technology. It sears quickly and evenly. A great benefit when you don't have a stove top. And much better than using a plug-in burner and pan, due to its speed of getting to temperature and the eveness of cooking. I have used it for frying, slow cooking and braising. High on slow cooking gives you a nice rolling simmer. Low on slow cooking is truly low. I appreciate both. I have made rice in it following the instructions provided. And I use it to make pasta. All work perfectly. My only regret is I purchsed an electric skillet, which I totally don't need. This Ninja does it all. I suggest taking the time to read the instruction booklet. I would not have known to get it to temperature before adding food. It has a great little alarm that goes off to let you know when it is time to add the food. This was a great purchase! ... show more
