This Ninja slow cooker is super nice, high quality, and came very well packaged. It’s durable and feels really solid. • Upgraded my crockpot game
Color: Black Size: 8.5 Quarts
The media could not be loaded. My old crockpot stopped working, so I was needing a new one quickly. The reviews led me to this ninja crockpot. I love it that it’s an 8.5qt, so it can hold more food. The buttons are easy to work, easy to program, easy to use, and easy to clean. The style and compact size is also really great. I placed my roast on low all night. This morning it was the most tender meat of all time. Incredibly well cooked and didn’t dry it out. The lid that holds the spoon is also genius! It’s not too heavy and has multiple cooking functions which will be handy. Overall I love this as of 10/18/24. Did get the protection plan, as my experience with ninja products have only lasted 1 year. Having the amazon Allstate plan for 4 years covers me for a replacement once past the manufactures warranty. I highly suggest adding it. Very easy to file a claim as well. I do recommend this. Just an awesome slow cooker ... show more

  • Best Croc Pot
Color: Midnight Blue Size: 6.5 Quarts
I gifted this to my wife, and she loves it. This pot has changed the game in my household. It works great and is worth every penny! Its 8-in-1 versatility allows me to slow cook, sear, sauté, braise, and more—all in one appliance. The 6.5-quart capacity is perfect for preparing family-sized meals, and the adjustable temperature control ensures precise cooking. I particularly appreciate how it replaces multiple cooking tools, saving valuable counter space. Cleanup is a breeze, and the sleek Midnight Blue design adds a touch of elegance to my countertop. Highly recommend for anyone looking to simplify their cooking routine! ... show more

  • The Cat's Pajamas
Color: Sea Salt Gray Size: 8.5 Quarts
This might sound like exaggeration, but this is the easily the best appliance purchase I've ever made. Yes, it does 17,000 different things, but the three below are why it's something I can't do without: (1) It's the best crock pot I've ever owned because it's non-stick. I've re-warmed queso in it multiple times on vacation, left it on high/burned the queso, and it still just slides out of the pot. (2) Any meals (stews/chicken spaghetti/etc) that require braising/sautéing before making a "soup" inevitably dirty every pan in your kitchen. You need a pan, then a dutch oven, etc. But this thing lets you do it all in the same vessel, meaning you can make a stew with an actual 1-nonstick-pan cleanup. I own a certain fancy-french-brand dutch oven (and love it), but I frequently choose this just because of the cleanup convenience. (3) Here's the real star of the show: sous vide. (If you haven't tried sous vide, you're missing out.) But the thing about cooking sous vide is that the equipment (which I own) is bulky and in-the-way while it cooks. If you only want to do a couple of pork chops, it seems like too much hassle; but if you're cooking (eg) ribs for 12 hours (or God-forbid a 29-hour brisket), you have to deal with the equipment being on your counter for the whole cook time. But this little dog will sous-vide like a champ while in it's normal counter space. The capacity is more than you'd expect, too -- this week, I did two medium racks of ribs, and two point-cut briskets, in one cooking session each. I now use sous-vide constantly because of the convenience, and I only use my $200 sous-vide setup if I'm doing a whole brisket or cooking for a crowd. I've owned this for a year or so, and it's held up with almost daily use. But, as I told my wife: I'd rent this yearly for the sale price. It's the absolute cat's-pajamas. ... show more

  • Fantastic Product!
Color: Midnight Blue Size: 6.5 Quarts
This cooker has exceeded my expectations. I just built a tiny house. It has a full kitchen, except code does not permit a stove. I spent a lot of time reading reviews of cooking appliances. A bit over 10 years ago I bought a searing Ninja slow cooker. It was okay, but took so long to saute/sear that I usually used a separate frying pan. Not so with this newer technology. It sears quickly and evenly. A great benefit when you don't have a stove top. And much better than using a plug-in burner and pan, due to its speed of getting to temperature and the eveness of cooking. I have used it for frying, slow cooking and braising. High on slow cooking gives you a nice rolling simmer. Low on slow cooking is truly low. I appreciate both. I have made rice in it following the instructions provided. And I use it to make pasta. All work perfectly. My only regret is I purchsed an electric skillet, which I totally don't need. This Ninja does it all. I suggest taking the time to read the instruction booklet. I would not have known to get it to temperature before adding food. It has a great little alarm that goes off to let you know when it is time to add the food. This was a great purchse! ... show more
