Nope. This thing showed up looking straight-up brand new. Not only that, but it came bundled with the charger, ,Type Cover and the Surface Slim Pen, which honestly made this feel like a steal. Everything worked right out of the box, no weird setup issues, no surprises—just clean, ready-to-go hardware. And to top it off, it even arrived a day early. That never happens when you actually want something on time. I think the battery is a little more worn out than the minimum 80% advertised but that could also be the way I am using it and software that’s running. The renewed surface pro 8 was in great condition. The tiny chips in the glass were not apparent until cleaning for a screen protector, but once the screen protector went on the chips disappeared. I believe this product was good. I discovered that not all thirteen inch tablets are actually thirteen inches. You have to be careful when buying tablets. I've had a few that came to me broken.
