I ordered this iPad for my grandson for Christmas. It was rated as an excellent renewed iPad, and it was a great price. Of course it was a Black Friday purchase so that might factor in. It arrived when expected, when opened it looked brand new , not a scratch or smudge on it, beautiful. Charger and cord were new. It turned on promptly, I transferred everything from his old iPad to this one with no problem. It had 86% battery when turned on, but I plugged it in during setup mostly to make sure it charged with no problem. Setup took about an hour, that included updating software and transferring all my grandsons apps and info from his old iPad. During that time the charger worked with no problems, (I checked this as there were several review that complained about charger not working or getting hot, etc.) and was cool to touch when I unplugged. As it’s a Christmas present I won’t have any other opinions as to how it works until the first of the year. I will come back and update this after he takes it “around the block a couple of times”. But for now I’m very happy about my purchase ... show more

The media could not be loaded. It took 3 days to get it delivered to me even though it was in route in my area for those three days. But I got it today. No noticeable scratches really. Doesn’t shut off on me or really over heat. Gets like a luke warm. But mostly stays cool. That’s it. Battery isn’t too bad. Does take a little longer to charge but overall you’re paying for a once owned by someone else, iPad. I enjoy it! Great for something to start off with until you can afford a brand new one! Overall I have no complaints and it works well! ... show more

    • PERFECT except the battery life…
I chose to get a refurbished ipad because The price is affordable, especially for the fact that i only wanted one for procreate. This ipad has been working great for me. No scratches,dents,cracks. But one issue that bothers me a bit is the battery life. It charges VERY slow and doesn’t hold a full battery for long. That is just a small issue in my op, but other than that everything is great. It has held up great the month that i have had it and i dont regret buying! ... show more

Came well packed in foam sleeves & in non-moveable tightly packed cardboard packing. Tablet looked like new from the factory, no scratch's, smudges or dents. Just perfect as one would expect buying a new unit. Battery came at 78% at 1pm. At 6pm still had 51% while putting it through setup pace's & all the configuring. So battery is looking good. 5 hr = 20-25% loss during heavy use. Guessing at a full day of use (8 hr) or more. However,...being it is the same plug on my iPhone & iMac, I plugged it into my 2022 iMac's multi usb port & it did not charge at all. Display showed "not charging". Don't know what's happening there but used the charger that came with it & plugged into the wall....display showed "charging". Nice. 👍 I don't have a single complaint to speak of with this purchase. Even came a day earlier than projected. Don't know where all the bad review's are coming from. Perhaps a Mon or Fri unit they bought? Now I get to watch NFL football on this instead of a 4" phone screen. Life is good again. Will update in a few months. Next day...as a test, left it unplugged from charger after it was charged to 100%. After 21 hr's battery was still at 90% so I'm happy & have no complaints. ... show more

I have a fast charger and even with that it takes forever to charge and doesn’t really charge while playing on it, just stays at the same percentage. I’ve gotten it when it was on 80 percent and received it around 1230. It had went down to 60 percent when I was updating it and syncing it to my phone. Which only took 30 mins to an hour. It’s 5:00pm and only charged to 87 percent. Granted my children have been playing with it on and off while on the charger. Besides this issue, it’s over all (so far, just got it today) a really good tablet! The screen came with a small scratch but not noticeable at all, one thing I will change is when I received the tablet, it had a sticker right on the screen that was HARD to get off. I suggest putting it on the bubble wrap or the box. I was afraid I was going to scratch the screen. Overall I’m very pleased with the way it looks and how well the tablet works. I’ve seen some people complain about the finger print not working, however mine worked just fine! ... show more
