The home button/fingerprint reader is smaller and I have to put pressure on the sensor in order for it to read my print. Because of the age of this IPad, it may not support all apps. For instance, I had to install an older version of Outlook. I bought two of these for my kids. We intend on using them for summer travel. Because my kids are supposed to be device free, I felt this was suitable. They have not had the chance to play their favorite games yet. It has a nice size screen. The graphics show its age and it lags slightly. I was having trouble changing with the included lighting cable and brick. However it did change much better with one of my apple lighting cables. iPad came in amazing condition & I bought it used-“good” condition. Battery life is amazing as well. I will say, it should come with a supported charger.
