Easy to use, durable, and they work great. I filled mine w/ pea gravel which makes a very sturdy weight that stays put. The two-section bags allow you to partially wrap them around each leg of canopy and velcro straps hold them upright and snug. HINT: Cut 1/2 in. off bottom of 2 gallon size ziploc style bags, then slide ziploc bag part way into each empty weight bag section, leaving enough to fold over top edge of weight bag; this protects the velco around the top of the bag from getting covered in your filler material and makes it easy to seal the bag once filled. Be sure to leave a few inches of space at top of weight bag as this allows you to fold the ziploc inside, then close the velco seal on top of bag. To empty weights, unseal top velco, unfold inner ziploc and carefully dump contents out.

I orignally purchased a set of these to edhole down outside Holliday displays on our deck where we couldn't use stakes. The weights worked great and after the season was over I looked around the deck and found that I could use them on the deck furniture to keeping it from moving in windy weather. They work great when you need things down.

I have used these bags on a canopy that I bought from Sams club. I am very pleased with the quality and the bag's ability to hold sand. I have about 125 lbs total in the bags. I like the velcro fasteners which attach to the legs of the canopy.

The main take-away is that these canopy weights do the trick. We have a canopy that my husband put over the grill to protect him should it be raining when he is out there. The original canopy would blow away with strong winds. He purchased a set of these weights a while ago and they did the trick holding the canopy in place. It seems 1 of the weights had a slash (which could have been our doing, though we are not sure what happened), so I ordered a second set. As for water resistance - it is hard to judge, since this is outside and when it rains, it would need to be waterproof to really make any difference (which is the only reason it received a "4" rather than a "5" in rating). Either way, they are very helpful in keeping the canopy in place.

I purchased these sturdy well made canopy weights intended to secure Christmas inflatable , and later use as a sturdy weighted bag for courtyard planters securing flowers in the pots. Believe material used is high quality, and design is easy to fill with either rocks or fine sand needed.
