Easy to use, durable, and they work great. I filled mine w/ pea gravel which makes a very sturdy weight that stays put. The two-section bags allow you to partially wrap them around each leg of canopy and velcro straps hold them upright and snug. HINT: Cut 1/2 in. off bottom of 2 gallon size ziploc style bags, then slide ziploc bag part way into each empty weight bag section, leaving enough to fold over top edge of weight bag; this protects the velco around the top of the bag from getting covered in your filler material and makes it easy to seal the bag once filled. Be sure to leave a few inches of space at top of weight bag as this allows you to fold the ziploc inside, then close the velco seal on top of bag. To empty weights, unseal top velco, unfold inner ziploc and carefully dump contents out.

I have used these bags on a canopy that I bought from Sams club. I am very pleased with the quality and the bag's ability to hold sand. I have about 125 lbs total in the bags. I like the velcro fasteners which attach to the legs of the canopy.

These would easily be a five-star product with one simple improvement: somehow "toughen up" the bottom of them. Once filled, they are inevitably subjected to pretty harsh lives...tossed into the back of your pickup, dragged on the ground (or worse, the pavement or concrete), etc.. This is my second set, only because of this weakness. Apart from that, they're essentially perfect. Yes, not expensive at all. I would prefer to pay a bit more and have them last better/longer. Having said all this...they are a very good set of anchor bags.

We live in a high wind area and always have issues with our sports canopies. We’ve purchased the hard weights in the past and they don’t work. I recently purchased a pretty canopy on Amazon for a great deal and really wanted it to be secure. These suckers work great!! I purchased the large ones. Purchased bags of sand and filled them up. I thought it was going to be a pain to fill but the opening is pretty decent. The Velcro is strong. They stand up and Velcro to each pole of our canopy. Pretty windy days every day since installing as well as two pretty big storms and our canopy has not budged!

Seriously never review things but holy guacamole, this thing deserves praise. Last night is South Texas we had 40+ MPH winds and gusts. Let me tell you I was staring at our gazebo for easily over an hour just waiting for the thing to fly away. After spending 500 bucks on a gazebo I was ready to cry to be honest but luckily, my perfect, smart, capable wife decided we should order these the next day after buying the gazebo. Mind you the thing weighs 120 lbs so I said no way it'll fly away but after yesterday's show, it truly would have. These bags (I bought 2 so 8 bags total) fit about 160 lbs of sand among all 8. They truly were the saving grace however. Without then my poor gazebo would have eneded up in a neighbors roof without a doubt. This product is amazing and truly capable, loading them full of sand was tedious but well worth it. Will be buying more!!!
