This is a high quality, full gain leather top hat that is even better in real life than it looks in the pictures. Glad I bought this very well made, American product right before the price jump, but it was worth every penny. The removable sweat liners and sizers are good quality and work as advertised, which is a pretty slick Velcro system inside the hat liner. It has a nice weight, fits your head comfortably and true to size, and comes in a nice, protective card board box. The wire rim is extremely stiff, so be careful making any adjustments, as they're likely to be permanent features once bent. The headband is made from a much softer leather and is glued to the hat, and is also of high quality. The adhesive under the band appears to be some type of contact cement, so I imagine that you could remove it without much problem with fingernail polish remover, but why would you want to? It's the sickest hat band I've seen, and the glass eye embedded is lifelike, unsettling, and complete with golden leather eyelids. It's just too cool for school and can be worn with a variety of clothing styles. Extremely happy with this purchase, and hope to have it for the rest of my life. Very Nice Hat!! The fit is good, Color is good.. There is no lining.. It looks like it can be wiped with a damp cloth but I would not wash it in any way because it might lose its shape.. It was a little tight and needed a little shaping to fit my head but it is comfortable after I did it.. It comes with bumper to stuff the hatband and make it smaller if need be.. ... show more

I'm an artist and this hat was just what I needed to express myself. It is beautiful, well made and looks amazingly great on me. Just as I had imagined. The first day wearing this hat I noticed and (please do not think me in my ego because I have 0 ego) people gave me more respect. So this hat obviously demands respect. I got many many compliments as well as over hearing a few not meant to be heard such as she could be a model. I noticed men fumbling to check themselves at the mere sight of a women in such a grand hat. They must definitely think I am an empress level woman. I am very please that I purchased this amazing hat. It adds an eye so that you can see how woke I am lol. That part was a joke but anyway the only issue I has it the hat band was glued in place so I could not put the eye in the middle of the hat. Or change hat bands. But that is a small issue compared to how grand this hat is and how it literally demands so much respect. Looks great with my new Dr. Martens that have Rose's on the side. If you are thinking about getting this hat but think it costs too much! Remember you are worth it and with this hat you will be shown the respect you deserved all along. And it's made very well it will last forever. I have issues buying things for myself that are pricey, this actually may be the first time. But I am so glad I did.
