The cookware is manufactured in China by an originally German company. The craftsmanship is good, comparable to Calphalon. HOWEVER, the coating is Whitfield Granite --- a PTFE spray!!! Teflon is the most familiar brand of PTFE. There is no granite coating, just the look of it. Because it is not what it claims to be, I returned the order.

I've had good experience and had also heard good things about this brand's kitchenware. The non-stick pan is lightweight, easy to clean, and heats up quickly over an induction stove. No issues so far with the nonstick coating. I bought this set to share with a close friend and she couldn't be happier. I really love how I can just wipe down the pan with some water and paper towel sometimes to clean it. Really saves me a lot of time! I was skeptical of this brand but now I would not hesitate to recommend this for more of my friends. There is an upcoming wedding that I'm attending and I plan to buy a set of this brand as a wedding gift!!

So I spent days reviewing pot and pan sets and finally decided on this one. I read all the reviews on this set and many others. I have had enough time to use them, that I wanted to share my thoughts; *They are easy to clean. But follow directions! I honestly had no idea you weren't supposed to wash the non-stick pans until after they had cooled. I didn't do that with the last pan I had, and the non-stick came right off, and I was mad. Apparently reading and following instructions actually helps. But who knew about reading instructions would be an important thing for an adult to do for a pot and pan set?!? lol. The ONLY drawback I've found is with the granite pattern, whatever doesn't come right off with water and a soft sponge is hard to see because of the speckling. But 99% of things just slide right off when washed (after the pot is cool lol). *The handles DO NOT get hot. I don't know what the other reviewers are talking about. It's a fantastic feature! *They look really nice too! The only con I have is just a preference. They are thin. I have not experienced ANY problems with this however. It just seems like it could be a problem, but again, it has not actually caused any issues.

My Teflon cooking pan set has started to chipped away so I'm getting a new replacement set with lids. I picked this set in particular because I have tried their frying pan before and liked the quality. First off, the packaging was top notch, all the glass lids were plastic wrapped and there were no damages when I open the box. Due to the special stone material, these pots and pans are quite light. I tested a pan right away cooking beef patties and they turned out well cooked in the even heat. In fact, the non-stick feature is a bar above my T-fal set. Overall, if you're looking for a simple set that is lightweight and non-stick. This could be a good around $100 range house warming gift as well.

DO NOT BUY THESE IF YOU EXPECT THEM TO LAST OVER 1 YEAR! They are are really nice when you first purchase them, but with daily use, everything and anything will stick like glue to them! We did not overheat them or abuse them in any way. The coating simply comes off and you are left with a food magnet and no warranty. We feel cheated!

I got this set for my in-laws for Christmas. They had a miss matched set of pits and pans that were sub par and sticky. They love this set. I had to open it and see what they looked like out of curiosity. They are chic and seem to be very nice quality. I was especially impressed with the lids it came with. I also ordered them the matching 12in skillet.

This is a light weight and durable non stick set of pots and pans. The heat quickly and easily over a gas flame. They clean easily and have never had anything stick to them. I was hesitant because I knew little about the manufacturer but I am glad I purchased. This set replaced a much more expensive set that was never as nice or performed as well as these.

We bought these for my Daughter and her Husband last year. They LOVE them! So much so, they asked for a large pan to add to their collection this year. (Which we did get for them also.)
