i love these smart plugs. bought them and installed them in my house with almost zero effort. then i bought them for my mom and couldn't get any of it to work. talked to meross customer service, her internet provider's customer service, reset everything (devices, modems, etc) multiple times, changed settings. none of it helped. so, this is a mixed review because i really do love these plugs, but i want to caution that it might not work for everyone.

I had my 12 year old setup the first two. She’s not super tech savvy but she didn’t have any issues. I setup the other two. They work. I didn’t have any issues with setup or updating. They don’t seem to work with HomeKit though. They were added in just fine but all four show up as offline. Not sure what’s going on there but for what I need the Meross app does what I need. Would have been nice though.

These plugs work pretty well. Compared to another brand I've used, these are cheaper and a little larger. The solenoid is a little louder when the plug clicks on or off. These are not problems. I have been seeing, on occasion, where the plug will just stop communicating. I can either unplug the non-communicating plug for a few minutes to get it communicating again or just try again later. This issue usually fixes itself some time later. Only the Meross HomeKit devices are doing this and they do not do it at the same time.

I recently switched from the Amazon Echo to the Apple HomePod and bought these to work with it because the Amazon Plugs wouldn't. These work awesome and was super fast to connect with the Apple Home App, and is worth getting if you are looking for Apple to run your home.

Paired these with my HomePod 2’s temp controller and now maintain a consistent temperature through my apartment utilizing the HOME Automation’s. Instead of turning everything on or off to maintain it’s now automated and also if I want to adjust it’s a simple “Hey Siri” away or my phone or iPad.
