I bought these for lights we have in a sun room. They do in fact work however, you have to be close to the receptacle and point the remote at it to get it to work. I bought a second set for our living room that had five receptacles and two remotes (different brand). I can be in another part of the house and turn them on and off. Much more convenient if nothing else. So while these do work, there are others that work better. ... show more
