This is great satin ribbon. It ties easily for beautiful bows. The texture is nice; satin, not too shiny. I also like that it's in a box. It's easy to pull out the desired length, and it makes for tidy storage. Have purchased several times and will buy again when needed. The forest green is beautiful as well. It's a nice deep "saturated" green. Update: Burgundy is beautiful and worked well with medium dark green paper. The red had a slight orange tint, preferred the burgundy. This is very nice quality ribbon, and you get plenty of it! I used some for a banner stand at a wedding, then later used some to tie on a large package. It is beautiful and soft, and looks high end, compared to some of the cheaper store ribbons. Last year, I got the 1.5in but this year, I decided to also get the 2.5in. I love this ribbon. Both side are shiny so I don’t ever have to worry about one side of the bow or tail being matte. Colors I ordered were Forest Green, Brown, Yellow, and Copper. I bought both the 1.5in and 2.5in of each colors. My favorite is the Copper. It is the perfect shade for me and matches my Christmas tree theme. It’s the perfect burnt orange and I think it does match the color shown. I wish the brown was slightly darker. To me, it looks more tan. I also do wish the green was slightly darker but it’s still such a beautiful and rich color. I would buy these ribbons again when I run out. ... show more
