In our push button, remote controlled, convenience centric world, this is an excellent product to bring new life to lesser "advanced" appliances. Have you ever thought to yourself "I love this but gee... I wish I could control it from my favorite lounger with a remote control". And, truth be told, most things these days come along with a remote control. But what about items that we love and use daily, (like attractive high-end lighting), which did not originally come with a remote control? Well... here is your answer. Enter these Mini Wireless Remote Control Outlet Switches, your new best friend! I couldn't be more in love with them. Here’s a personal example: I have three tall floor lamps in my living room, and at the end of a long day, there’s nothing I enjoy more than sinking into my cozy leather recliner with some music and just decompressing for a little while. Thanks to these devices, if I happen to have forgotten to turn the lights on or off, or change my mind, I don’t have to get up, instead I lift a finger to adjust my lighting. What a pleasure it is to be able to relax in my favorite spot and not have to get up to turn these three lights on or off. That's just one example. These little gizmo work great right out of the box. There is no setup other than plugging them into a wall outlet and plugging the item you wish to be controlled into the receiver you have just plugged into your wall outlet... Oh, and putting 1 (included) battery in the remote. Here’s where it gets even better; One remote controls up to three different receivers. They’re pre-set so that each button on the remote corresponds to a specific receiver, button one for receiver one, button two for receiver two, and so on. But if you want to mix it up, you can adjust the settings to fit your needs. They arrive with the most logical configuration though, so you’ll be up and running right away. One other additional thing I would like to mention is yet another perk; the remotes are universal. So, if you get more than one set, you can control multiple receivers with the same remote. I started with one box of three, then couldn’t resist and ordered another. Now, I control all six units with a single remote! Plus, the best part is you don’t require "line-of-sight" to make them work, another bonus that makes things just a little bit easier. If you're wondering whether I recommend them... absolutely! I am loving these little devices and highly recommend them. They are working seamlessly. I use these to controlling the power to my pedal board and amplifier for my guitar stuff. And I have a second system setup for recharging an electronic device. These are easy to use and easy to program. Most of the time they work great, but I have had to reprogram them a few times I the past four months I've been using them (that's the reason for 4 stars, not 5). Even as they are, at this price point, I can't complain and this method is very convenient for me.

Mini wireless remote plug jns are the best kept secret. Makes my life a whole lot easier with one Touch on and off. I have a few of these around my home. I use them on my sewing room. Have my iron plugged into it. Not always needed, but it doesn't take long to turn it on

I ABSOLUTELY love this product! Prior to ordering the Century Wireless Remote Control Outlet Switch, I tried two different brands of wireless/bluetooth connected remote outlet switches, figuring it would be super easy to be able to turn my lights on and off from my phone. I did my research and bought 2 highly rated brands... they both did the exact same thing... would work perfectly the first couple of times, and then the outlet switches didn't respond to the app... everytime I left and came back home the switches wouldn't respond to commands from the app until I uninstalled and reinstalled the program on my phone. It was a gigantic PIA. While browsing for a similar product that didn't rely on bluetooth, I came across these, and I am IN LOVE! All I wanted to be able to do is turn my lights on when coming home to a dark house and turn them off all at once when leaving. I just leave the little remote hanging by my doorway, come home and press the button. Voila! No worries about wireless connectivity, bluetooth issues or app malfunctions. This product is EXTREMELY simple to use and set up (and less annoying than the Clapper lol). If you want something simple and reliable to turn your electronics on and off via remote, I highly recommend giving this product a try!
