The treadmill just arrived - 2 day shipment - and it only took me about 25 minutes to assemble which is VERY minimal......just a couple of screws to attach the base at the front. The hardest part was getting it out of its' shipping box. I was happy to learn the speed can be changed at the control panel AND at the hand grip on the right side. Everything is very intuitive. I am 71 years old so I didn't buy this machine for jogging, but my natural walking pace is fairly rapid and this machine can challenge me, so I have to believe that a slow jog would be very doable. The machine arrived in perfect condition and the control panel is easy to read and the LED readouts are very easy to see - the panel lights are quite bright. There are no "step offs" at the sides of the running belt if you want to get off the moving belt while it is still running but it sits low to the ground so I don't think you'd need them. The only areas for design improvements FOR ME would be making the height of the control panel and hand grips a little higher when it's in position for walking - I'm 6' tall and I have to bend slightly to hold unto the hand grips, although I don't feel the need to grip them frequently unless I'm actively using the readouts available on the control panel, and the knob used to secure the tread base in the upright or operating positions, for the folding feature, is a little inconvenient to find and utilize, but fortunately for me I have the machine placed in a room seldom used so I won't have to move it often if at all, but I like the option to be able to move it "just in case". It rolls easily when it's in the folded position and balanced pretty well so most of the weight is on the wheels and not on the person moving it, and it will roll through standard doorway widths. Lastly, I purchased this particular machine because it had a longer walking belt than many others and I tend to take longer strides than many people do, plus the price was VERY fair. Right now I am a very satisfied customer - if things change over time I may return to edit my evaluation but I'm optimistic I won't have to do that.

I really didn't expect much since this treadmill is inexpensive.I needed one that didn't use too much space in my home and would be sufficient to use everyday. I am so pleased with this treadmill. It is compact enough that it isn't a problem as far as space goes. It works well as far as doing what it is supposed to do. The electronic display is a bit slow to respond to commands, yet the start and stop and speed control buttons on the handles work immediately giving me complete control. My only complaint is that the double ended wire that connects my phone to the speakers doesn't work. Nore does the volume control work. This may be just a bad wire connection, not the speaker problem. It's not a big deal to me as I can use my phone for my workout music. Overall this is a great purchase for me. I hope to use it for years to come

I'm 5'11 196 lbs. None of the information on it I believe is accurate.I use a fitness tracker (whoop) to calculate what my body is doing. I get a decent workout in on this thing so if that's all your looking to do, this machine has been great. I move in and out of the garage onto my covered patio and it is easy to move around. It's def not meant for sprinters as full speed on this treadmill for me is just a faster paced jog. I think it's a pretty good for that price, I've had mine about 3 years now

Hi, 5'4" 125lb 23 year old female here! *Initial review* I must say, everything was much better than expected. It arrived in 2 days instead of the estimated 5. Box was quite heavy, but I managed to jimmy it through the house (a free workout). I set it up in my bedroom the next day at 2 am (night shift, am I right?) Clear instructions. A small bottle of lubricant included! I didn't apply any yet, but I will before I use it again and would recommend it. Super easy setup (you only have to install like 6-8 screws, takes 10-15 minutes). I used it on our carpet at 8.0 km/hr (approx. 5 miles/hr) for 15 minutes, and it shifted slightly side to side from my weight, but it was REALLY sturdy. I do dislike that it uses the metric system so I have to remember my stats before the machine ends (it doesn't continue to display your stats after you finish) and then convert them. Still not that big of a deal and thats the thing I dislike most. I like my Skullcandy headphones so I will continue to use those (since my 2 year-old son sleeps soundly in the room next to me). I read that the built-in speaker wasn't that great anyways. My son didn't wake up when I was running this at a light jogging pace. Comfortable height and length, and I am THRILLED at the width of the belt. Almost 16 inches across. Very comfortable to me. I could not imagine purchasing the slightly cheaper 14 -inch treadmill. I am going to get a LOT of use out of this, especially now that it's cold outside. Winter is coming, are you prepared?
