So 1st off this is not to lose fat. It works great for balance that helps tighten your muscles. You immediately feel your body tighten when using. Best results are to use feet wide apart and in squat position. The resistance band provided is ok. Just fold it in half for more resistance. It is a little noisy so it is not a quiet unit. This is probably one of the best things I could purchased for myself! The main reason I wanted it was to help my lymphatic flow so I use it every day. But it's amazing how much better my achey joints feel once I'm done, especially my knees. It causes your muscles to contract all while standing in place (even the core muscles) and has even helped my balance. All it takes is 10-20 min a day, or more if you want. I saw this online and decided to give it a try. It is stronger than other vibration plates I’ve used and the surface area of it is nice for a wide stance or keeping your feet close together. It is easy to setup and quiet when in use. The remote has some trouble communicating with the device so it takes a few tries to get it to do what you want. Pros: Heavy duty - I looked for something that held the most weight for the durability aspect. I wanted something comparable to the commercial unit at my wellness clinic but to use at home for lymphatic treatments. The base is very large and I enjoy the AUTO feature. Although portable, you may not want to move it around much because it's surprisingly heavy and has suction cups to keepin place. You may have to reposition it but you'll want to keep it there. Make sure you wear shoes especially if you have flat feet you need the arch support due to the intensity. Cons: I wish the white power cord and the remote matched the black unit I chose. Although it's not a deal breaker. Overall: It's comfortable, durable, improves my circulation, doesn't take up a lot of space, and I'm excited to use it. I suggest starting slow if you're new to using any vibration plate. This one is very intense. Listen to how your body responds. Go half the limit for the first 3-5 days before going to 10 and using the auto-feature. Also, do not go longer than max session. The machine shuts off after 10 minutes. Don't overdo it. Not sure why some ppl say they use it for 30 min. Just use twice a day like morning and evening in 2 separate sessions. Good luck to anyone reading this. The CV30 is good for beginners. It's easy to set up and use - basically plug n play. If you've never used a vib plate before, it does jar you some. I started at level 1 no more than 2-3 minutes for a few sessions and gradually I'm moving up. Now I'm at level 2 5-7 minutes for each area. I can't say how far up I'll go but it's not a competition. This works for me to help groin muscle after work out and sciatic nerve from tension. I sit on it and use it for lower legs while I sit in a chair. I can't handle any type of neck/head vib - at least not yet. I has purchased the more expensive model - same set up and use instructions - but it was way to hard on my bod and the vib gave me a stiff neck and headache. Sent it back and now I use this. The travel distance in the CV30 is less than the larger model and motor is a little less powerful. Makes a big difference. ... show more
