I was really expecting something that I would have to exert a little effort with in an “exercise” way, but this little machine is actually a very passive, self-propelled movement, where it moves your feet and legs for you in a surprisingly delightful and enjoyable massaging manner, that really helps promote circulation and relief of stiffness in your feet and legs. The feet pads are quite bumpy, which just helps promote a bit of a foot massage experience. I am able to use it easily either at my desk, couch, or chair, it is very quiet, and has a lot of different programmed settings that I’ve barely scratched the surface on. I’m by no means disabled, but it’s quite obvious the massive positivity this would have for somebody that is mobility challenged, or disabled in some fashion that could really benefit from this kind of passive movement to improve circulation and flexibility. It does come with straps that could be attached to help hold feet in place easier if you’d need it. I just couldn’t be more surprised and delighted with this little beast. I highly recommend!

First off, I seem to be missing two knobs that go on the ends of the bars that go on the pegs, and without them, the foot bars slide off after a bit. I wonder if I could get those? Otherwise I quite enjoy this machine! It’s amazing at work!!! Easy to use and the 8 different levels of tension control are a huge benefit! Smooth to use, though I lack the personal balance to do this standing. At least now, but otherwise… solid purchase. Now if I can just get those two knobs! Update: this company will always get my business. They sent me a full replacement product, with the knobs, and were wonderful! I’m so excited to use this machine to its full ability, it is a great value item, worth the cost. I had a text thread with them until my replacement receipt was verified and checked in even then! I’ve even ordered another item with them and I’m excited for that too! If you like this brand, try their climber too! I use it every day and it is a very effective machine! The other item I just ordered is their shaker plate that’s also getting great reviews! Give the brand a go! It’s awesome.

Assembly instructions are good. The pedal position will occasional get stuck and I have to bang it with my foot to start again. However, once started I'm able to pedal and it is a great leg muscle exercise machine. It is quiet and stays put in position. The display works fine as long as there is enough room light to read.

This will be long. I am a 78-year-old overweight female with very bad arthritic knees. I purchased the Merach under-desk elliptical to help my knees and to try to lose a little weight. It’s been 3 days since I received it. Shipping was fast. SETTING UP: The hardest part was getting it out of the well-packaged box. There were no missing pieces. DO read the instruction manual first. (1) Plug the power cord in; (2) Install the included batteries in the remote; (3) Place the non-slip mat on your floor and put the elliptical on top of it. I did install the foot straps but found that I don’t need them so removed them. I haven't used the lubricant (no creaking noises). I am not (yet) using the arm resistance bands. It weighs around 10-15 lbs so I can move it around even with a hiatal hernia. USING THE ELLIPTICAL: I followed the directions. Turned on the power button; set the speed first to 1 and then bumped it up to 6, all on Manual Mode. I relaxed and let the pedals move my feet/legs for me. The elliptical will run on Manual for 15 minutes and then it automatically powers off.During each 15-minute period at speed 6, I burned around 50 calories. In these first 3 days, I’ve used it in 4 fifteen minute increments (total one hour and around one mile) and I do believe that my legs have received a good workout. I plan on increasing the speed and the number of times I use the machine weekly as my body gets used to the exercise. ISSUES and QUESTIONS: (1) Where, how, and when do you use the lubricant? (2) Be advised the speed is shown in meters, not miles so you need to be able to convert meters if you are in the U.S. and don’t know how far a meter is in feet/miles (like me - I ask Siri). (3) I do not understand what the Counter - “shows the current exercise cycle” Light means and can’t find an answer to that question in the Manual or on the Merach web page. Irritating but not a deal breaker. (4) It fits under my desk which holds my computer, but when activated, my knees hit the top of my desk. I can’t elevate my desk or lower my chair. My current solution is to push my chair far enough back from my desk so my knees can move freely. This causes me to lean forward to reach my computer keyboard (bothersome for my back). I am trying different-sized pillows behind my back to relieve the strain. OPINION: So far I LOVE the Merach Under Desk Elliptical. Even with the few issues mentioned, I believe it’s worth every penny since it’s helping to exercise my knees/legs and lose calories. I researched MANY under desk ellipticals before deciding on the Merach. It’s a solid machine and the company has a good reputation. It is made in China (they all are) but again, that’s not a deal breaker for me. IF I start having problems with it and/or it breaks down in a couple of months, I will come back with an Update. RECOMMENDED? Yes, highly.

I love this! my legs are firming up with ease! the machine is high quality, easy to use! that's very important to me, being a mature lady, ease is a major factor. it helps with circulation , toning front,back, inner thighs fast, it has never been easier.most affordable& worth every penny. my legs feel so much better & strengthening has improved me so much ,when I take a walk my endurance has improved! my legs have been improved my range of motion tremendously! excellent quality. it's easy for seniors to pick it up take it outside, sitting out on your deck. and i'm losing weight! it is high quality. they could sell this for more than its priced.

I have been back and forth about buying one of these and I finally did it! I'm so happy with it. I just got it yesterday so I have used it twice now. It is very quiet, sturdy, and well worth the money. This machine is just as advertised, I love that it comes with the resistance bands for the upper extremities. The rotations are very smooth. The only con was trying to figure out what the programs did. I think I got it figures out. Don't hesitate! I took a pic of how I store the resistance bands in the holder the remote can be stored in. It works better for me and keeps the ropes out of my way.

Physically, it works fine, but the display, which show results of different modes, are only labled with hard to see print next to the digital readout lights, so one can't tell what their accompishment has been unless you stop and look closely. I prefer to use it while not under power.
