I absolutely love this rower. It was easy enough to assemble and I appreciated the instruction video available on the web site. Worth watching prior to assembling. Now on the the functionality. It operates so quietly and smoothly. The scull action is a game changer. I believe I activate more upper body muscles than with the traditional rowers. I appreciate the portability of this machine and its small foot print. I have on observation: I am 5'2" so I get a full range of leg and arms I do not know if this would for taller people. ... show more

This rower is EXCELLENT. Easy to assemble, well built, and effective. The tension is higher than the professional rower at the gym. The range of motion adds more muscles to the list that can be worked. It takes up very little space. Definitely a good buy for a home gym.

I would give a 4.5 star but can't. It is a great machine. The only thing that could be changed is to backlight the monitor screen so you can see your stats without stopping and shining a light on it. It was extremely well packed. Be prepared to spend some time getting it all out of the packaging. For the most part, the directions were easy to understand and can be assembled by one person.     • Amazing Value for a Quality Rower

This rower exceeded my expectations. It took me about 30 minutes to assemble by myself, but it would only take me 20 minutes if I had to assemble another one. Comes with all the hardware/tools you need. I work from home, so it is so convenient to get out of bed and get a 30-minute workout in before moving to my desk. No more driving 15 minutes to the gym, which is a real pain, especially in winter. I'm 6'3", 250 pounds. Pros: Quality (nothing cheap or flimsy about the primary parts) Compact (fits in small spaces, easy to lean against a wall or in a corner when not in use, not nearly as long as most other rowers) Lightweight (easy to move, the wheels help a lot if you move it across a room) Quiet (seriously, whisper quiet) Separate rowing arms (Simulates a more realistic rowing stroke, allows dual arm pulls, alternating arm pulls, and single arm pulls) Fine for tall people (I estimate a height of up to 6'5" would be fine for full extension) Cons: Screen (The non-backlit screen needs a good light source on it to see it well) Resistance (16 levels, but the highest level is not akin to a torture device, it's good enough for a nice workout) Data (Does not track watts generated, but only the more expensive rowers do this) I have not tried the app and the included workouts yet. I have a 65" TV in front of the rower, so that should be nice. My goal is 30 minutes a day, sometimes a set of 30 minutes in the morning and a set of 30 minutes in the evening, and see where it goes from there. I look forward to watching sports while rowing. The time should fly by. Excited to see the results after 30 days of rowing. I can't see how anyone could offer a better overall value on an entry-level rower. This will provide years of regular/daily use. Time to end the gym membership I rarely ever use. When I used it in the past, I always hit the rower, so I knew I liked that type of workout. ... show more

Excellent product. Comfortable seat which is a huge plus. Durable construction. Not too large that it overpowers a room. Quiet. Great natural motion without jarring. Hubby is over 6'. I am short. Works for both of us. Easy to construct once you get it out of the box where it was packaged tightly, securely. It is low to the ground. I love this thing exclamation it’s smooth doesn’t take up a whole lot of room, has a nice adjustable resistance and a great workout. it was easily worth the price which was very make sure when you assemble it you remove the nut in the front of the rail or the bolt slide on the seat and reinstall the bolt and seat stop other than that it’s really easy to assemble. ... show more

So far this machine is great! Its quiet and it really does the job of providing a great workout. After all, it really is the effort you put in is the return you get back. It's very well built and worth the money (IMO). Take care of it, keep it clean and it should last you a long while. Very pleased.
