Style: S08 Recumbent Bike
I love this little recumbent exercise bike! I've only used it for a few days, but so far it has worked out (ha ha) great for me. It did take me around 2 hours (!) to fully unbox, unpack and set it up. It wasn't tricky to assemble at all, and the video showing how to do so was very useful (I didn't even look at the written instructions). Also it includes all needed tools. But it is packed well with a lot of foam, cardboard and tape, and lining up some of the bolts through all the holes takes a bit of finagling. One of the things I like the most is that you just sit down, put your feet in the straps, and start pedaling. The display automatically powers on and starts tracking your workout -- no need to press a power button, or start a workout, or pair it with an app, etc. The display defaults to Scan mode where it cycles through the different readouts (time, distance, calories burned, pulse, etc.). The heartrate/pulse monitor seems to be accurate -- it shows about the same number as my smartwatch. And when you're done you just stop pedaling and get off the machine; the display turns off automatically after a short while of not using it. Currently I use the second lowest resistance setting: 2 out of 8, because my legs are weak. I'm hoping to gradually work up to higher resistance settings over time. It's very easy to change the resistance, as the knob is within reach and you just turn it left or right, with the current resistance shown above the knob. The other thing I like is that the bike is very quiet, and stable. At first it was squeaking (around the seat) while pedalling, but I sprayed it with WD-40, and I moved the seat a little bit and it "locked" into an adjustment setting, so I think I just had it between two different notches. It's very easy to move the seat forward or back, and to move the seat-back up or down. The seat is a little hard and uncomfortable, but I bought a memory foam seat cushion to go with this bike, and it's very comfortable (its Amazon product name is "Soft Dense Memory Foam Car Seat Cushion for Driving - Seat Cushion for Car Seat Driver with Wedge Design & Raised Back to Broaden Vision, Provides Comfort for Lower Back & HIPS (Passenger Use Too)"). I like that it has a seat-back, as I have back pain, so it's comfortable to sit back and relax while exercising.

Love this small, inexpensive, simple recumbent bike. Due to arthritis, scoliosis and other back problems, I am unable to walk very far so I needed an affordable piece of exercise equipment that I could use for a few minutes per session several times daily. Here's what I love: 1) it has rollers on the front so I can push it around myself when I want to change locations. 2) it has a simple, easy to use display 3) the display is battery operated so I can set up anywhere - no need to be by a power outlet 4) it was very affordable. 5) whisper quiet Yes, as others have mentioned, the back and seat cushions could be cushier (easy to adjust to your desire with towels or thin cushions), and the pedal guards aren't the greatest, but for $179, it really is an amazing little piece of equipment.

It is actually a very nice excercise bike considering the price. Wasn't expecting much and couldn't afford much so I went with the merach s08, was gonna get s23, but not worth the extra $ when the s08 is just fine. I got this cause certain health issues and injuries especially to my knees and back, I needed to start moving cause I was getting even more depressed sitting around and not getting out. So i got this..the set up and installation was very easy. I got this cause I wanted a interactive experience that could hook up to phone, tablet etc via Bluetooth. Haven't had it that long but it works with the Merach app, Fantomfite, Zwift. Just gotta pedal to activate Bluetooth to connect to apps. Definitely worth it if you are looking for a affordable and simple solution to excercise and get blood moving. While enjoying scenery and games.

Love this bike, I need a small bike I can use during winter months to keep up with my cardio. It does what I need and fits my budget. The bike is on small side but that's what I need for the room I'm using it in. My husband that is 5'9 can use it comfortably, anybody taller than that this bike may be too small. If you're looking for a fancy gym bike this is not that. If you're looking for a basic bike to use at home this is that bike. I love the Bluetooth capability as I prefer to see all the reads on one screen and my phone will log each time I sue the bike to keep track. I haven’t tried the work out videos on the app yet, as I also have apple fitness + and have been using those videos. Would recommend this bike.

This is a very well-made exercise bike, which I have enjoyed for the past three months. It is sturdy, easy to assemble (provided that, unlike me, you read and follow the directions carefully). I really can't say enough good things about it. At age 87, I use it nearly every day. There are eight resistance adjustments, ranging from fairly easy to fairly hard. It also features an easy-to-read display, including time, speed, distance, calories burned and heart rate. The bike is lightweight and easy to move, but not flimsy. I was particularly impressed by the high quality of the components. I'm sure it will last a long time.

While the written instructions had a bit to be desired, we used the photos to ‘enhance’ the directions in the assembly manual. The bike itself is great. In my knee rehab, I am still using resistance level 1, once I am farther along I am confident any added resistance will be appreciated. Very sturdy, very stable, very smooth consistent rotation. No back light on the display, not a huge deal, but would be helpful. Seat adjustability is nice. Seat back can adjust higher/lower, and if it could adjust from angled back to more straight up, that would be helpful as well.
