I finally caved in and gave up on my old promax as I couldnt stand the "clank-clank-clank" anymore and I couldn't figure out a way to fix it. After reading some reviews I decided to buy this one. I loved my previous exercise bike becasue it was simple and offered pre-stored training programs that didnt require you to sign up for services and connect anything. I picked this one because it is very simple. And rather than putting all the bells and whistles, they made it very simple yet very capable. If you want to just ride it and adjust the difficulty level you simply adjust the dial and ride. If you want more then all you have to do is connect bluetooth capable device and download their app. You can then pick one of the built in options or join their races. I really like this design because rather than spending hundreds of dollars more for built-in options that will become obsolete in a year or two or put an expensive computer chip inside that can break, they make all adjustments/improvements/updates to the app and you are all set. Package is bulky obviously - it is an exercise bike so unless you are incredible hulk you wont be able to move it by yourself. I opened it first and then brought in pieces, one by one to assemble in the room it went. Tighten a few bolts, hook one cable, screw and tighten paddles and you are done. It still has manual stop lever and the bike itself is very quiet. Occasionally the stop lever drifts causing some noise but once you pull it back up it stops. I might be able to tighten that a little more but havent played with that much as it stopped doing it. Like many people said the seat it comes with is very uncomfortable for me. I didn't deduct any stars for that because (1) all other exercise bikes come with not the best seats, (2) it is an easy fix. I looked at other reviews to see what they replaced it with but couldn't find any names. Hopefully this will help all those that wonder: I bought "Wittkup Medicus Air" and it did the trick. No issues with the seat anymore (and no I don't work for Wittkup lol). The place where you would put your iPad opens up to maximum 7+7/8 inches so it fits my iPhone 14 but not iPad pro, which doesn't fit anywhere anyway so that is not a negative. Like I said this bike is simple so I connect my iPhone, put it in the holder, pick one of the options and go. One thing I wish the app allowed is custom programs. But thats where the beauty of simplicity is - I'm sure they'll add that in the near future.

I love the auto resist, changed the seat from the butt punisher that it came with. Had some issues with the Bluetooth, discovered I had to remove the bike from the app and then add it again to clear the issue. For the price it is a great bike, I hope they develop the app some more.

Update: Changed to 5 stars now. I reached out to customer support and they resolved my issues with great customer service and offered replacement parts. I do over 20 miles a day at over 17mph at 9 resistance. I am definitely putting this bike to the test and it’s doing great. I also ordered a replacement seat and it’s wonderful.….This is a great bike. Easy to assemble. Quiet. Great app connection. My main issue is the comfort of the seat. I am use to this size seat on my regular bike and I’ve even added my seat pad from that bike and it really hurts and makes it a struggle. Powering through it hoping it gets better. Telemetry is also different from the other exercise bike we have so not sure which is right but I still get a great workout. 5 stars for sure if seat was more comfortable. Looking forward to interacting more with the app.

I was excited to find a bike that seemed affordable, and did not have a lot of fancy parts that would break down over time. Main Issue Unfortunately, the interactive and smart features for this bike do not work on my unit. After trying things like multiple devices, apps, checking sensor connections, etc., the bike displays E01 without fail after pedaling during a workout for more than 2 minutes. Sometimes it still reports pedal power but it does not automatically adjust resistance and sometimes it seems to disconnect completely. The support website only says to unplug the bike, but this does not fix the issue. Other issues: 1. The seat is really uncomfortable. 2. The pedal straps are a little awkward to deal with. 3. The screen holder does not fit my ipad pro. It appears the photos are digitally edited and not using a reasonably sized tablet screen. Update I had to send in video of the issue but they ended up giving me a full refund.

The Merach S09 bike is a solid piece of equipment. It was well packaged and easy to put together, it took less then 30 min. After putting it together then trying it out I was overly impressed of how quite it is, it doesn't make a sound and the bike doesn't move or shake. The feature that I like most is the Merach app with all the different training routines. The only complaint I have is the seat its very uncomfortable but if you are into racing and leaning forward I guess it would be comfortable. But me and my wife sit more upright like a regular bike. So we change the seat and it works great. Also after you register the bike you Mercy extend your warranty another year.

It has been the best value for the money of an excercise machine for home, its extremely easy to assemble, almost no noise while cycling, on the down size: 1.- its heavy as hell; 2.- I use it with my Samsung S7 FE and it shows ERROR 01 almost every day that I use it, so I need to unplug it and replug to make it work again (this is for the auto resistant level), that used to happen with and old ALLDOCUBE tablet, and oftently with MYWHOOOSH app, with MERACH app it happend 1 time every 15 sessions/days... also my wife use it with and iPHONE and she told me that never have that problem.... so this is a BT communication problem I think with ANDROID gadgets, not a big deal for me, and well since the price was to low for the great specs it haves... ill for sure recomend it
