  • Easy to use, nice size, well made. I had trouble with part of the assembly.
We are happy with this bike. It is well made and has the features we wanted. It has only a basic "computer" so make sure it will be right for you. Many others have too many bells and whistles although I know why they would be useful to others. This is a solid piece of equipment. Not a light weight. Good design and manufacture. It should last a long time (the frame and seat at least - time will tell about the internals). I do wish it had one or two more higher resistant settings but the highest on here will be fine. The seat is comfortable. The only adjustment is back and forth for leg length. The side handles spread out to make it easier to get on and off. Not a real tight fit which may make it seem poor design but it works well. The assembly does take a bit of time. The instruction book is poor but I am handy at doing this so figured it out. I could not find a video or other instructions on their website. That is a problem since they provide a QR code to supposedly take you to one. The hardware is good and the basic tools are better than other sets I have put together. I did have a big problem attaching the seat assembly to the slide bracket underneath. It was very hard to line up the longish bolts through two holes on one side through two holes on the other. And there are two sets of these and a close tolerance so the alignment is difficult. And, you have to turn the bolt so that a square part under the crown top lines up with the plate. It is just hard enough with the tight fit that this is very difficult and you can't see with the seat above. I finally removed the seat assembly which made it much easier. That was easy and I don't know why the instructions don't give that procedure. I actually drilled out one set of the holes on one side because I had used a mallet to try and drive the bolt on through. This made a small deformation of the medal plate and the bolt threads. I "fixed" the plate deformation by drilling the holes out to the same size. I used my tap and die set to clean up the bolt threads. Moral of the story - don't use a hammer of mallet. And leave the seat assembly off until you get the sliding bracket put together. We are using the bike daily now and it is giving us the exercise we wanted. ... show more

  • I think it's going back
Attempted to put it together and left paddle refused to go in no matter what. I suspect it has something to do with the threads. Similar problem's been reported in 2 reviews here. Emailed company's support to see if they could help. 2 days later - total silence. At this rate I'm gonna be returning it shortly for something else (packing it all will be a major pita). It's a shame cause it seems like a well designed bike. Update: support reached out after my review went up. The'd pointed out what the issue might be. I feel pretty embarrassed for missing it. Apparently left pedal goes in counter clockwise. Doh. Assembly instructions show that but it could be easily overlooked. I'm keeping it. ... show more

  • Smooth and quiet
I've been using this bike for 2 weeks now. I'm a 65 year old female but have always been active and athletic. I set the bike up by myself - not difficult at all. Had a problem with one of the pedals that wouldn't screw all the way in. When I looked in the hole with a flashlight, it looked a little rusty inside. After a spray of WD40 it was fine. My main concern was whether or not I'd be able to work up a good sweat but I get a real good workout on the 7th setting. 8th is more like a steady uphill but it's good to know I'm not maxing out my resistance options. I ride about 35 minutes/12.5 miles every day and that burns approx 300 cal. Workout feels the same as my previous gym recumbent bike without the drive. Perfect. I love it! Update: I still love it! I had to tighten the screws on the seat one time when it started making a squeaky noise. Right back to quiet riding. After 4 months and about 1200 miles racked up I couldn’t be happier! A great purchase. ... show more

  • Silent and smooth...
Got this for my +80 y/o dad cause it got too cold for him to exercise outside. Assembly was straight forward. Half the time, I didn't use the instructions (typical male). Once you open the bags, you can pretty much figure out where each part goes and how. It's sturdy and certain parts have a good weight to them. My favorite part is that it's really quiet and smooth. The seat is safe for the elderly and fairly comfortable. Overall, it's worth the price and more importantly, my dad's been exercising daily and seems to be moving better. Hope that helps... ... show more

  • Works for me, but not perfectly
Took me about 3 hours to assemble, because my vision is poor. And there were a few things that didn't work right. But overall, the recumbent machine works great. It's simple, and that's fine; the display does basic stuff like time, distance, speed, calories, heart rate, etc. Rotates through to keep you focused on different things. The gear shift is kind of cool, but the lower gears are way easy. FYI. The bottle holder is not really convenient located, but that's fine, too. I set this up in my living room, so I can do it easily while watching TV—which is what I wanted. No complaints (yet). Will return to amend if needs be. ... show more

  • Only problem - Resistance levels are poor
LIKES - Easy to put together. 1. The video instructions are clear and if I can put it together, anyone can. 2. Bluetooth worked great with my iPhone. 3) Seems very sturdy DISLIKES - There really is only 3 resistance levels on my bike. 1-5 are basically all the same (almost no resistance. Level 5 to 6 a small bump and 6 to 7 a very large increase. 8 is another large increase. So I am left with basically using 6 and 7. Had I tried it out in a store I would not have purchased this. If the resistance levels worked properly I would rate this a 5. ... show more
