The bike came very well packaged and even though there was a large hole in the side of the box from where it had been mishandled the product was completely undamaged. Assembly was super easy and the bike shipped with all necessary tools to assemble it. From unboxing to pairing the bike to my phone via bluetooth, it only took about 45minutes. I didn’t even need the instructions for assembly. I took one look at the parts and a few looks at a picture of the assembled bike and it was very obvious how it needed to be put together. Anyone should be able to assemble this bike with little trouble although you might need an extra hand attaching the legs depending on how much upper body strength you have. This machine is completely silent… I seriously can’t even here a whisper coming off of it. No loud squeaking noises, no annoying ticking, just quiet. I am super impressed by this. While the quietness of the bike keeps me sane the seat of the bike keeps me sore. I wish this bike had a wide seat option because this narrow seat is very uncomfortable. I bought a gel bike seat cover to put on it and that has helped allot. Daily use is getting me adjusted and I suspect that in a few weeks I will no longer feel any discomfort. I am less thrilled with the app. It didn’t ask for any weird permissions but reading the privacy policy has left me with some concerns. There were paragraphs in there that suggested it may try to access things that I do not think this app should need. I’m not a lawyer so maybe I am reading too much into it but I take my privacy and device security very seriously. Beyond those potential issues, the app itself just isn’t ready for prime time. It has some translation issues such as when I wanted to connect the bike and it said connecting but it never connected because it was waiting on me to push the button that said “connecting”. Some things have not been translated such as the resistance parameter when in free training mode. Sometimes the videos don’t want to play and they always freeze in the middle of the exercise. When I try to exit a frozen video it asks me in English to select an option that will help better improve the content but all of the options are in another language so I have no idea what I would be choosing. Instead of choosing anything I forced closed the app because I couldn’t get past the question otherwise. I am using the app on a Samsung Galaxy S21 so if it has issues for such a mainstream device you can expect as many or more issues for older or less popular devices. I will say that the exercise programs I did try were very nice until they froze. The tablet stand is fantastic and it holds my Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 securely even though my tablet has a large and thick protective case on it with a handle on the back. Not many tablet holders are designed to hold such a thick case so this was a pleasant surprise. The bike has wheels for moving it around although I do wish they were slightly bigger. They get the job done and will not be a problem unless you need to move the machine in and out allot. If you only need to move it occasionally you will have no issue. The frame of this bike is very solid and even when I move to a standing peddle there is no instability or flexing. The handle bars do twist slightly but it is not a big problem. Overall, if your looking for a solid and quality piece of exercise equipment then this is well worth the money. The App might not be ready but it is not necessary for device operation and it will hopefully be updated and improved in the near future.

The screen doesn’t work as described. It won’t mirror an iPhone 17 pro. It does work with my iPad but having two screens to use the bike is not ideal. Using other apps with my iPad mirroring the screen causes the Bluetooth to constantly disconnect. The bike is sturdy and I’m able to get a good workout, so for the price it isn’t a bad deal if you don’t mind the screen issues. I did replace the seat and pedals which also helped.

I started off with an exercise bike that was barely $100. As such, it was incredibly rickety feeling and uncomfortable. After months of use, I decided I had earned a new bike. However, I was not willing to spend $1000. Then, I came across this bike. To begin with, it’s STURDY. A lot of bikes aren’t rated for more than about 200-230 lbs. This one is rated for over 300lbs. The entire thing is constructed so solid that I have no fears of anything breaking, even when standing on the pedals. The tension can be gradually increased using the tension knob. The increases and decreases are very smooth. If you find yourself pedaling and need to stop, you can simply push on the tension knob and the spinning immediately halts. This is an awesome feature, since momentum would make it difficult to slow/stop. You can easily adjust the bike to fit your body, raising or lowering the handlebars and/or seat, or sliding the seat forwards and back. You can find whichever position is most comfortable for you. The tablet stand is handy to be able to watch movies or follow a workout on your tablet while you ride. I also use it just to keep my phone and tv remote handy while I ride. There are only two things I would like to be different, but they aren’t deal breakers. To begin with, the app connects to the bike via Bluetooth, which is cool. However, the units of measurement can’t be converted. Entering my height/weight required me to convert to cm and kg before entering. Also, the distance traveled is in kilometers, which I’m not used to. It would be nice for an option to change these. Secondly, the seat itself is uncomfortable for me. I ended up ordering another, wider seat, in the hopes I can ride for longer without pain. Otherwise, this bike is everything I had hoped for. It’s exactly what I need to continue on my fitness journey and will last me for years to come.

The bike arrived on time from Amazon and the physical setup itself was fine. Pairing it with the Merach app worked, but that is where the positives end. This bike is NOT fully compatible with Zwift, despite being marketed in a way that strongly suggests it is. Only smart trainers can properly connect to Zwift and provide automatic resistance and full functionality. This bike does not do that, which completely defeats the purpose if you are buying it for Zwift training. This critical limitation is not clearly disclosed in the product description and feels misleading. As soon as I discovered this, I contacted Merach customer service. Their support is awful. I could not reach anyone for an entire day. When I finally got through, I was told someone from technical support would email me within 48 hours. That email never came. Amazon had to step in and contact the seller, DEKE-US, on my behalf. That experience was just as bad. I wanted to return the bike but no longer had the original box. Instead of offering a reasonable return solution for a large exercise bike, I was told to find a friend or neighbor who has a box big enough to fit it. That is completely unrealistic and unacceptable. Between the misleading product description, nonexistent follow-up from Merach, and an unhelpful seller, this was an extremely frustrating experience. If you are purchasing this for Zwift, do not buy it. Sellers need to clearly and honestly describe product limitations and provide proper return support for large items.

The Merach Stationary Exercise Bike (my 2nd bike) has similar options to other big names like Peloton. The apps like Merach, Kinomap , and Swift help make the rides feel real. My advice is to download all 3 apps and see if you think the optional two are worth it, the merach app however, has to be downloaded and paired. You will have problems trying to pair without the Bluetooth app. The merach app leaves a lot to be desired, and its very basic at best. It tells you distance, rpm, etc. You can ride as Merit member or upgrade to VIP for $15.00 a month. I see that it is free for 10 days. 99 The bike is whisper quiet during operation. The bike is sturdy and i feel secure riding it. To all the ladies out there, you may absolutely need a bigger seat for umm.... comfort. The seats will run about $35 and you can swap them out easy enough.

I couldn't be happier with this purchase; at long last, I have something that doesn't break down after several weeks of constant use. It has such a low noise level that I can use it in the living room throughout the day without getting any complaints from my family. Because there are times when I need to do a little more work, my favorite component of the bike is the magnetic resistance.
