I was never one to use no smaller than a 10” I was wrong, these two 8” subs hit like a 12. I have a guy that makes sub enclosures and he had a pair on a fosgate 1200 and they were crazy loud so I got 2 and he made my box I’m running mine on a Nvx X-Series 2000rms amp and they take without any hiccups I have to dial back my lc2i pro because they bass was hitting I thought I might blow one or both but they are still going strong haven’t had them very long got them on 5/28/23 they are impressive little subs now I’m doing four for another build in another car can’t wait for that. If you really want loud get 2 or more one wouldn’t do these subs justice. ... show more

Huge fan of these subs, I'm using mine in a custom sealed box at .75 cu ft, a bit big but the bass is very deep with great SQ to boot!. I tried a Skar ZVX8 first since these were out of stock and it was horrible with respect to SQ, a lot of subs can play loud but this one plays loud and CLEAN!! Not sure I would push the 900w rms rating, I'm giving mine 400w RMS using a Helix M One. ... show more

UNBELIEVABLE SOUND! The only other 8inch sub that can beat this Memphis sub is Sundown sa series, but you won’t have a warranty with sundown. These little subs sounds like 12inch subs when paired with Memphis viv 1500 amp and a custom ported box.

Sound quality was great for the first week of it working. Literally one of the speakers blew out. Yes this was tuned correctly, yes it was only powered to 500 RMS, way under the rated 950rms, yes the box and cubic feet were built to spec. Unfortunate because I’ve been a Memphis fan for years. So i have the Memphis underseat ford box with 2 8” I will say these sound great I don’t have much playtime at all of these bc I usually put my 15” in when my kids aren’t in my truck. Needless to say I run a Rockford 1k the surround on one of these have ripped already maybe total 12hrs playtime
