I used to use chemical hair dyes, and they were a real problem to apply, plus they were damaging to my hair. I decided to quit dying my hair for about 3 years, to see if I could get used to my gray hair. It was OK for a while, but I got sick of that. When I found out about plant-based shampoo products like this one, I tried that out. This hair dye shampoo is really easy to use! You simply apply it to dry hair, covering all the roots and hair. It’s easy to pump the product out. You don’t need to use the entire bottle for one application, and just like shampoo, it can stay in that bottle until you are ready to use it again. It says on the directions to leave it in for 5-10 minutes, but I massage it in for about 5 minutes, then place a shower cap over my had and leave it in for 30 minutes. I find that this works very well to cover grays. Then I rinse it all out in the shower. I do not use a shampoo after this process, because this is a shampoo. My hair feels very soft, shiny, and the color is beautiful! All the gray is gone! I love this shampoo, and I will buy it again! The price is reasonable, compared to other similar plant-based hair dye shampoos.

This is a very easy way to use, just press the pump, mix in your hands before applying and then apply evenly, if your hair is very white you will need at least 2-3 times after your hair is fully black.

I got this to try something semi permanent to cover my gray hairs on the top of my head. I don't really want to die them all the time because it dries out my hair so I decided to try this. I like it! Covers my grays and its super easy to use.
