Love this chicken tractor. All pieces were clearly labeled and assembly was so easy. Its has much more space then you think. My young hens will be so happy to have their feet on the ground where they can scratch in the dirt. But still be protected from predators.

    • Solid Coop with Good Quality—But Assembly Info Needs Work

Overall, I’m pretty happy with this chicken coop. The build itself was relatively straightforward—I was able to assemble it solo in just a couple of hours, and the quality of the materials felt solid throughout. The parts were clearly marked, which made assembly a lot easier, and the instructions were mostly clear. That said, there are definitely some areas for improvement. The instructional video provided was sped up way too fast to follow in real time. I kept having to pause, rewind, and rewatch just to understand what was going on. A slower, more detailed walkthrough would make a big difference. I also found the lack of clarity around dimensions to be frustrating. For example, the sliding door shown in the photo underneath the coop—nowhere in the product listing or manual are its dimensions mentioned. I had to go back and forth with customer service to get basic measurements, and even then, it wasn’t until I had the thing built that I really knew what I was working with. For people living in areas with specific coop size regulations or keeping larger breeds that need more space, that kind of detail matters. Despite those hiccups, the final product is sturdy, the wood feels strong, and the wire mesh is heavier-duty than what I’ve seen in similar models. The price felt fair for the quality, and now that it’s up and in use, I’m satisfied with the purchase. I assembled this by myself and it took about two hours. Directions were clear and everything was labeled well. Once together, I find the coop to be sturdy and well made.

This coop was made well enough, but much smaller than I expected. It stated it would hold 6-8 chickens. It would hold 2-3 max and that would be a stretch. Resembled a dog house rather than a chicken coop. The run was also very small and the tarp was poor quality. I returned this and just built my own, however, it has been 7 days and I have not received a refund. Buyer be cautious. ... show more

Pictures and descrition are deceiving from the reality of receiving the item and actually putting it together to view the final product in front of you. What do i mean by thet you may ask? ) The instructions are not that great and definitely need updating with better detail than a simple short sentence. 2) The quality of the material is not as described. 3) Doors do not open easily. I could go on, but the bottom line is after finaly puttimg it togehter I would return it if it if it would take me longer to pack int back up and unfortunately as being partially disabled Veteran i can not drive to do so. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Easy to Assemble, Durable, and Stylish This coop was relatively easy to assemble, though it definitely requires two people. The instructions were clear, and the provided notes were helpful. The final product is a beautiful blend of cedar and metal, and it’s built to last. We’re using this coop for ducks, and they seem quite happy. The size is perfect for 4-5 birds, and the sturdy construction should protect them from predators. While it’s not as portable as I’d hoped due to its weight, the quality is excellent. The asphalt roof provides good protection from the elements, but I plan to add a solar-powered fan to the side window for ventilation, especially during our hot California summers.
