We’ve been having issues with our filament absorbing moisture and creating stringy prints. We decided to buy the Creality Filament Dryer. It came the next day. We reprinted the same projects and they came out flawless. The dryer is easy to use. You can adjust the temperature and time. It has a humidity reading which seemed to go down to about 15%. We were able to print from the dryer which was super handy. The product is well built with bearings on the bottom for smooth motion. While on, it does make a noise, similar to a sound machine.

Better than expected at the current price.
Size: Filament Dryer Box 2.0
This thing maintains a low humidity even after being away for a day or two. Effectively dries filament including those with cardboard spools. While it does not rotate on its own, there are bearings that make manual rotating smooth. The system does circulate the air in case you aren’t at the dryer to manually rotate preventing uneven drying. Great product for a great price.

I've been 3d printing for many years but have never had a filament drier. I finally got this reality device. It does the job well. I was able to dry out some petg in 30 minutes which enabled my print to go from a failure to working well without any other changes. My only criticism is, the combination of button to press to adjust run time and temp isnt very intuitive. I can get it set but it takes a little fiddling. Even with this I still recommend the product. IT is well priced and works.

Has the Features I Wanted
Size: Filament Dryer Box 2.0
I'm really satisfied with this filament dryer. It has the features I wanted which include control of temperature, control of time, and display of humidity. It is reasonably quiet and it appears to be well made. It has a metal insert between the heater and the heating chamber and the lid is strurdy clear plastic. The spool rollers are metal and have bearings on each end. During use I turn the spool every couple of hours. I'm not sure that this matters but it is easy to do. To use the filament dryer, you simply set the temperature and time and it starts heating. It stops when the time runs out or when you shut it off from the rear switch. It is also possible to casue it to shut off by resesting the time to zero. It also has a rubber filament port with plug at the rear of the clear cover. I'm not planning to use the filament port to feed filament but I can see that some people might want it on the front of the box. Well done Creality.

Size: Filament Dryer Box 2.0
A fantastic 3D filament heater/dryer combo. It heats the internals from 45C-65C and with a timer from 1-hours through 24-hours. I plan to check the accuracy of the heating feature but I’m not in a hurry given it dried slightly hydrated PETG CF, PETG GF, ASA, ABS and some very damp (>30%), very old copper-colored Silk PLA, which I have found difficult to print on the beat of days but impossible with moisture levels above 20%. The hygrometer goes down to 15% as its lower limit but once it reaches that level, it’s low enough for anything I’ve come across. I also use it as a heater/filament softener for more exotic and difficult to print engineering filament. In full transparency, the unit I received works 100% and without issue but it was clearly not ‘new’. This is a problem I have noticed more frequently of late. It had enough filament dust or grime inside the enclosure to notice it when I first opened the box. It also had a greasy film in parts of the enclosure, something close to lead screw grease and other tells it was not a new item or at minimum, a poorly cared for, poorly stored ‘new’ item. Amazon offered to send me a ‘new’ one and didn’t ask for the old one back. I declined since the filament dryer worked so well as received and even though I didn’t get a ‘new’ item it looks fine (enough). I didn’t think the waste of resources and materials to send me a replacement was worth it (to me, anyway). While this has happened to me a few times this year (along with the wrong item being delivered once) it does not affect how well a functional example of this filament dryer works. I’ve used it for any number of odd and demanding engineering filaments and it hasn’t caused an issue. I have >300-hours of active, heated use it hasn’t as much as hiccuped. I am ordering more and if you print even as a hobby, having two or more in invaluable to have filaments dried and ready to print, including softening the filament when needed. Oh, you can also print directly from the dryer (in my case) with no impact on print performance, however I did use a small piece of high-quality PTFE tubing where the filament exits the dryer. be enough

I've been happy with the Creality Filament Dryer Box Pro. It's simple to use, heats evenly with the 360° hot-air circulation, and has noticeably improved the quality of my prints by keeping moisture out of my filament. I like that I can print directly from the dryer, which helps keep the filament dry during longer prints. The controls are easy to use, and it runs quietly in the background. One thing I noticed is that the humidity display will occasionally stay at 15%. When the dryer isn't in use, I simply open the lid f to let the humidity reach the sensor, and it often resets to the correct reading after some time. This hasn't affected the dryer's performance at all—it's worked great. It's just something to be aware of if you notice the humidity reading doesn't seem to change. Overall, it's a great addition to my 3D printing setup and well worth it if you print with PETG, PLA, or other filaments that can absorb moisture.

So far so good. It'll fit one 1Kg roll or two 250g rolls. Has built in heater to dry out the filament. Doesn't really take up more space than the roll of filament itself. Runs quiet enough.
