I have to say that this is a cute can. I like that its a step on. The size is perfect and I love this color, it goes with my theme. The only con is that It's so light, that when you step on the foot peddle, the whole can moves and pops up and down. It just wont stay still. I put a bag of crafts rocks in a baggie in the bottom of the liner but when I empty the liner, I have to fish that out and wipe it clean. The first time I ordered, I was expecting the matte blush. I thought there was a mistake in the color sent so I exchanged it for the same color. Color: Black
Small and light - too light. Every time I press the foot pedal to open the lid the can slides backwards. I had to put something behind it to keep it from sliding. This is on a bare floor of course. It is a nice matte black color which is what I wanted, but that does mean it spots easily. Don't keep it near the toilet where it can collect some over splash. The metal is pretty thin so it's likely pretty susceptible to denting, but I'll never know. There really is nothing wrong with the can, but it won't work for me. I've ordered two open topped round can's as replacements. One smaller than the other so it can fit inside the larger can. That way I don't have to look at garbage bags draped over the rim of the bigger can. This is not a bad little can, but it likely won't work as your main trash can in your bathroom. It might work better sitting near a woman's vanity due to it's small size. ... show more

Cute and tiny, we needed to get it to fit in a very small area 7" wide next to the toilet and the sink cupboard which has a shelf thing above the toilet so there are legs for the shelving in that area so it's very tight fitting something not bendable plastic in that area but we needed something with a lot due to the dogs getting into bathroom garbage so I bought this garbage can after doing my very thorough research. I do think it's not very sturdy in the lid and the foot pedal, in fact i don't even use the pedal. I can fit a grocery bag in it like I usually do so garbage doesn't touch the actual can. This is nice cuz it does have a container that can be taken out if needed, i do not know yet how to keep the lid up whentaking the bag out or putting it in (I think you have to do something in the back to get it to stay up on its own) but if your looking for something not badly priced and very tiny (we went from a 3 gal plastic can to not even a 2gal so it's quite smaller) but it fits in the spot, it stays shut so no dogs getting into it and not badly priced so I recommend it for any of those purposes, yes there are probably better sturdier larger ones but this is just fine for what we bought it for! ... show more

    • Perfect size for my office, love the lid
I bought this for my home office. I have to have a lidded can because my (formerly stray) cat-dog likes to get into the trash and scavenge for things to eat and things to play with. I thought this was a sturdy metal can with an enamel paint coating which is the reason I bought it. I received it yesterday. It arrived with a scuff on one side. I put it straight into my office. It seems to be plastic. Not yet realizing it was actually not a metal can, at least not the lid, I used it as a footstool while leaning back in my office chair. I later saw that I'd dented the lid. I was able to pop it back out, but I won't be doing that again. I like the little wire handle for pulling the plastic liner out of the can itself for emptying. I also like the step pedal. It's angled up a little more than others I've had and it makes it that much easier to step on and open. It looks ok and I love the color. I bought the mint color which is slightly more towards the green side than aqua (I'd love aqua, too, but it wasn't an option). I'm keeping it because I like the size and the color and it'll do. ... show more

Updated review: 1 week after receiving the "pink" one, I ordered the mint green one for my home office. I love them now! They match my 50s vintage vibe in my house and are narrow enough to fit in small spaces. Still more expensive than I'd like, but I'll live. 5 stars! It's NOT pink, but I still like it. It's much smaller than I expected, but that's my fault for not measuring before buying. It's still quite nice. I have it in my bedroom. It was just a little expensive for what I actually received. I would have paid no more than $16 for this. ... show more
