The cooker arrived promptly. But it arrived disassembled, and it took a couple of hours to assemble. The quality is good, the size is excellent, and it is easy to clean—good value for the money. We used real charcoal rather than briquets, which I think preserved the smoky flavor without the chemical taste. It's light enough to hand carry but resists tipping.

This smoker is made of a thicker metal than most like it, which was really nice to see when I opened the box. The powder coated segments felt sturdy when I was assembling the smoker and it all went together fairly easily. There were a couple of places in the assembly instructions that could've been clearer, but overall the instructions were pretty clear. I like that it has a very generously-sized water pan and an access door to refill it if needed. I do not like that the coal/wood chip grate is so small. It will need tending to and adding of more coals on any truly long smoking efforts. The access door for the coals/wood is just below the one for the water pan so it'll be easy to add more, but a bit more space would've been nice because the "snake" method is my go-to for smoking as it's pretty foolproof. I also wish there were latches to connect the bottom and center sections so that when you need to move the smoker you could lift it by the handles on the center section and put it wherever you wish. As it is now, you can lift the center section with the lid on, but the bottom section for the coals will have to be lifted separately. A couple of latches, one on either side, would solve this and add a lot more flexibility to this smoker. The lid has a thermometer on it so you can monitor the ambient temperature of your smoking projects and it also has a standard rotating vent on top. I would've liked a small vent near the bottom by the coal grates, too. It may be something I can add later. Overall, a pretty good smoker; none are perfect. I do think it's a teeny bit overpriced considering the shortcomings I found, but it's still a pretty solid little smoker.

Handles broke and missing screw. Easy to assemble the actual smoker seems well made. It passed the magnet test. I had to go to Lowes the get the missing screw. Idc about the side handles. Cheap plastic. I hand tighten them and it popped off and broke. I will be using it this weekend and will update accordingly. Oan pretty easy to assemble i did it alone in less than 45 mins. You need a Phillips screwdriver. That's not included.

This smoker has a great size, providing ample space for cooking a decent family. However, there are occasional smoke escapes. The installation took about 30 minutes. The only downside I noticed is the hangers on the top part. There’s not much space to hang anything unless you remove the middle grill..

This was a very easy to assemble BBQ and appears to be plenty sturdy and would be a great way for someone to get into smoking or grilling without using up a lot of space. Because it has the ability to do multiple things it gives you a lot of flexibility for your outdoor use. It is a pretty simple grill so just know what you are getting. You are not going to get precise temperature control like you might from a more expensive unit but it is good for what it does.
