We are pretty happy with this purchase. I was concerned that it may not work with our Purple Mattresses. They work great! We also love the price! I am an older 5'2" female, and I was able to setup the frames with good use of the laws of physics. The two frames in the spilt king came in two boxes about 38"X38"X4. I turned them end over end to the door and slid them down the stairs while walking backwards in front of them. My partner was unable to help so I pulled out our old box springs and slats from our Cal King frame. The description says the frames are 30 pounds, but they felt more like 50. The frames are a very snug fit side to side in our frame, but they fit loosely between the headboard and footboard. I was concerned that our pets, who frequently hide under the bed, might get pinched, but they can hear the motors running when we adjust the frames. (I cannot hear anything more than a click.) Our pets immediately noticed the frames moving. They have a healthy respect for motorized things, and I think they will be ok. I am not a fan of where the USB ports are, but this is not a game changer for us. The ports are not useful with an outer bed frame. If we move the beds to a flat position with USB cables plugged in, they will hit the outer frame of the beds and possibly break off or destroy the ports. If we did not have the outer frame, the USB cable would probably get caught on things because they stick out. The under-bed lighting gets triggered by pets under the bed, but it does not get trigged by humans getting up off the beds because of the bed frame. At least we know when our pets are moving around under the bed. The remote controls work well. I can see how some people may have a problem because they may accidently pair one remote to both beds. I unplugged the first bed when I was pairing the second bed with the remote so I did not have an issue. I have already used the little flashlight on the remote control! Great idea! I think this will help our sleep quality. My partner has inner ear problems, and the adjustable bed should help him. I love putting my feet up after a long day. It is great for lower back pain and shoulder pain. A slightly raised head also helps reduce puffy eyes. ... show more

For the price of this split king bed frame is unbelievably reasonable. Works perfectly as described. Comes almost put together. Add legs and plug in your done. Has night light under the bed and charging ports. Zero gravity, tv and memory 1 & 2. Good sturdy quality.

I’ve been quite happy with this bed frame. I occasionally like to sleep with a slight elevation due to acid reflux and other health reasons. I have previously used a full mattress wedge, and while that worked, there were times I wanted more adjustability. This frame gives me a lot of options. I can give just a little rise to my head or use it to sit upright for lounging, reading, etc. I like the programmed zero gravity option as well as the two programmable buttons for custom settings. I have one for sleep and one more elevated to help me get up in the mornings. I use the full height leg option (you get multiple leg parts parts to adjust height) and I am able to store banker boxes underneath. The under-bed light looks cool in the photos, but when you’re storing things under the bed, it isn’t exactly practical anymore. Something else to note. If you like to sleep in the dark, the USB ports on the side do have a blue glow that can be projected on my wall. At worst, you can cover them. Also note that this unit is VERY heavy. I just had to move and it was a pain to haul. It’s easy to set up for the most part, but man is it heavy. Overall, I’m very pleased and am glad I bought it. I feel secure when I toss and turn and when I need to sit up, I just reach to the side pocket and grab my remote. How’s that for handy? ... show more

I needed an adjustable bed due to hip and knee problems. This bed was affordable so I was skeptical. It was easy to setup and it works well. I will see how it holds up in the future. This bed is pretty cool. We looked at other versions of it and they were over $1k, so the price on this is awesome. Each box is HEAVY!! - so if you need it upstairs, make sure you have someone to help you move it. We barely got both boxes in the door. Incredibly easy to assemble though, super easy to pair remotes to each side. Night light is nice and soft underneath. Raises and lowers slowly and smoothly. Slight warning: Because bed is a floating bed and legs are more on the inside, you do have to be careful when rolling out of bed. My stepdad, who I bought it for, found out the hard way that of the legs arent strapped together tight enough, it can flip on its side if you put too much weight close to the edge.
