I don't agree with the negative reviews that I am seeing here. I had no problem with the mattress inflating to the full thickness and the color is as expected. It is a comfortable mattress, but maybe not a replacement for a regular bed and using it every night. It's perfect for an occasional guest or even better for a guest with children when they want to sleep separate from their parents.

this mattress sucks. feels like a thin layer of fabric is covering the springs. its very springy. you kinda bounce when you sit on it. they are medium strength springs, not firm. so me as someone thats 6'3 200lbs sits on it you hit the futon frame itself and its not like im plopping down, im just sitting normally. can't return the mattress either since it comes vacuum sealed. amazon got me with the "only 1 in stock" so i bought it quick. wish i didn't. it folds easy tho. this would be a great mattress for a child, not an obese one tho.

What a piece of junk. After almost 48 hours laying flat it only inflated to 6". When I sit on it all I feel is springs. It hurts and is uncomfortable. And htf do I return it? I started the return and it says to put in original packaging. There's no way to get this back in the original packaging. It somes in a vacuum sealed bag to make it compact. Where would I even get a box for this and how much would the box even cost? I want a full refund. False advertising, defective product. Do not buy. Now I'm probably out $200 and have a piece of junk that I'm gonna have to pay $60 for the garbage man to pick up. Then spend another $200 on a mattress. Waste.

Even better than expected !!! A label on the box states: "This mattress is intended to be used WITHOUT A FOUNDATION". But I have it on a frame that folds to a couch. It will work, even it needs to be strapped down in the center. I am impressed with the quality !!!! And amazed that it fit in a small box !!! It decompresses !!! And the plastic sheeting will be reused as drop cloth. Thank You !!!!

Not worth the cost

Was struggling financially but decided to invest since our futon in our living room our core furniture for our family. We open it to a bed on family movie nights for more room. I was disappointed from the beginning and it's a year later and I'm still disappointed almost daily . It's pretty bouncy and it just feels horrible to sit on it on since I sink to the frame instantly. I will admit, my family likes it more than I do.. Contrary to other people's reviews I actually think it's comfortable to sleep on, just not comfortable to sit on. I just read today in someone else's review that it's not meant to be on a foundation? I never saw a sign for that but that would make sense. This would probably be very comfortable on the floor, but I do not recommend it for high volume usage on a futon frame, especially one that's 90° angle. Maybe one of the older styles that angle up in the front under your knees? That might feel a little better with this mattress? It would probably be fine for a guest in a guest room or for an individual who's on the lighter side with more minimal usage. I don't recommend this for daily use for families.

I never thought I'd be sleeping on a futon again, but here I am, sleeping on a futon. I just set it up today, and I'm laying on it for the first time, and I'm giving it five stars because it's already leaps and bounds better than the last futon mattress I slept on. It shipped and arrived quickly, too. Overall very happy with it so far. We'll see how it ages.
