    • Really neat and stylish Peanut-themed clock, a must have for any Peanuts fans!
I got this clock to put in my game room to add to the game and movie themed decor. I absolutely love this thing as it adds distinction to the motif along with an air of nostalgia. It would be great for a children's room, daycare center, etc. Kids would love it, maybe even as much as adults who grew up with the Peanuts gang! The clock seems well made, albeit made of plastic; but most clocks of this style usually are. The colors are matched nicely and contrast rather well with the clock face which is white. The hands are black and easily distinguished against the clock face, an important feature as there are no numbers on the clock for time, just little dots. That said, it's still easy to tell time as there are many clocks out there with only marks and not numbers. The clock seems to keep fairly accurate time; the clock mechanism is basically a universal type of movement used in most clocks of this nature, meaning if the clock stops keeping time, you could replace just the clock mechanism and not lose the functionality of the whole clock. The only somewhat downside is, while the music plays and it's a neat feature, it plays every hour with no way to turn the music volume down or the music off. While this isn't a huge deal, some may find it annoying after hearing it over and over every hour. Now, you can remove the batteries which power the music because they are separate from the clock itself, or you could cover the speaker on the back to tone the music volume down a bit. Just be aware of this because for most, the music is really neat at first but may get to be a bit much later. The clock has a night sensor which shuts the music off when it's nighttime. Too bad they didn't incorporate the "whaa whaa" sound like in the Peanuts shows when any adult would speak! Overall, this is a really neat clock and one that any Peanuts fan or collector will want. It's listed as an officially licensed, 75th anniversary edition which would make it very desirable to those collectors or fans. I cannot say that this clock would ever become more valuable as a collector's item, but it is representative of an iconic piece of history. If you or anyone you know is a Peanuts fan, this is a great gift and one I am sure they would love and really appreciate. The price may seem a bit high but really, it's about in line with other items of this nature. Remember, this is a licensed product, not a cheap knockoff and it's a 75-year anniversary, so all of those aspects add up to costing a bit more. And the whole Peanuts genre is about as American as apple pie, Mom, ole dogs and pickup trucks - don't miss out on this opportunity to own a piece of history! ... show more

    • Loving the clock.. Looks Fantastic..
Well packed in bubble wrap with an instruction sheet. I really was expecting something similar to the cheap plastic clocks sold for 10$, I was happily surprised that it looked and felt like something substantive. It does not feel cheap or flimsy, and the construction and details are excellent. The inner trim ring around a very sharp, clear picture gives it a look that can blend in nearly anywhere. The graphic doesn't look like cheap paper backed graphic clocks. It is easy to set up, as it is made with the same mechanism included with most battery powered clocks; insert the single batt and use the round finger adjust knob to set the time. The sound is completely separate function from the time keeping function, adding versatile functionality to the clock. Insert 2 batteries into the sound module and that is all that is required. There is a test button just below and to the right of the recess for hanging. The sound is not too loud or obtrusive, and it has the added bonus of going quiet when the room goes dark, i.e. going to bed and shutting down the lights, this should also help save battery.. Should the batts go dead the clock will keep time.. Also, the sound can be disabled simply by not installing any batteries in the module. I love this cute reference to the Peanuts gang! For the price it really is a nice collectable to gift or too keep.. ... show more

This is a really well made clock and any fan of Peanuts would love it but the music does play every hour during daylight hours and not really a way to turn it off. They really should have made a remote to go with this to adjust the volume and on and off. You can take the batteries out for the music and just use the clock so there is that option. It reminds me of a grandfather clock in the way it plays music every hour. Definitely a collectors item. ... show more

If you are a Peanuts fan or are looking for a commemorative gift for a Peanuts fan, this is super-cute while at the same time being practical. The image on the clock is the main Peanuts gang hanging around Schroder while he plays the piano (although, I don't see Woodstock). In the background are grayed out comics with the Peanuts 75th anniversary (Oct. 2025) logo. There are no numbers on the clock but are represented by yellow dots on the hour. The clock also plays the "Lucy and Linus" song on the hour (for approximately 25ish seconds) Originally, I was going to put it in my office, but that music might be distracting every hour while working and conducting calls. However, I am a Peanuts fan, so it won't bother me if it is in other parts of the house. The good news is when the room is dark, the song does not play on the hour.     • Celebrate Peanuts!
I am a huge fan of Peanuts, and have many collectibles through the year. This clock brings joy, no doubt about it. I like that there is a light sensor on the clock, so I don't have to hear the theme song in the middle of the night. You can also turn the sound completely off by not putting a battery in that compartment. It does take 3 batteries. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was the price. It is plastic, and looks China made, so as far as value for the money goes, I believe this to be a tad bit over priced, but if you are a collector of all things Peanuts, then it may be worth it. ... show more
