I ordered a size L based on the Amazon size recommendation and the product size chart. Both were wrong. I am 5'10" / 200 lbs. w/ a 45" chest and 36" waist and 18" neck. Although I got the vest on and zipped up, it was snug over just a T-shirt, and the collar was tight. It would not be a comfortable fit over a heavier garment. I returned it for an XL. Otherwise, I am happy with the quality and appearance of the vest. It is very light and thin, definitely for warm weather wear, and a reasonable price for what you get. UPDATE I got the XL on 5/2 and the size is now perfect for me. I could wear a flannel shirt or sweatshirt under it and not be tight. The zipper on the breast pocket is sticky unless I leave it slightly open. I think it will work out fine for dog walks and on a fall trip.

Good materials. Decent-size lower front pockets and side pockets. The left breast pocket is a little small. My Altoids EDC fits, but too tight for my wallet. Easy material to sew. So, I'm going to sew a leather holster inside of the vest. We liked it enough to by a second one for when this one goes in the wash.

The con part is no interior pockets. But if you have fabric you can add them by gluing with Marine goop that after putting a weight on in for 10 hours it is stronger than if it were stitched. I wear large but I ordered xtra large because I fill the pockets. Nowadays you need them . Masks, sanitizers, alcohol, etc etc.

I’m female, 5’ 8” and got a medium. It’s perfect! Needed some space to wear over a sweater/jacket. A small may work too depending on what type of fit you are looking for. It is on the thinner side. I do love the pockets. The zipper is a little flimsy so make sure to zip it correctly or it can be off track if you’re not paying attention.
