  • Solid, comfortable, quality.
Honestly, for anyone on here complaining that the bench isn’t sturdy either doesn’t know how to use a socket wrench / Allen wrench or didn’t have the right size. The bench is built and packaged well. It comes with everything you need to set it up minus the wrench. You can use a socket wrench for all one bolt which makes putting it together fairly quick and easy. The bench is comfortable, well constructed, easy to move and functional. The leg extension aspect is a great and when the seat is angled properly is decently comparable to a gym cable leg extension. The hamstring curl aspect isn’t nearly as comfortable as a one at a commercial gym, however it gets the job done. I’d highly recommend this to anyone that wants a functional bench at a great price point. ... show more

  • Great For the Price
If you're considering this bench you're probably not in the market to pay $300+ for a commercial grade bench and quad/hamstring extension - but this is a really good product for this price. PROS -Assembly... I've put together a lot of things and I thought this was really easy to assemble. All parts were there, instructions were pretty clear and I put it together myself in about an hour. -Weights... I have olympic sized plates, and they fit on there. Although if you have Olympic weights and lift more than 100lbs on extensions, you may not be able to fit them on. -Quality... the quality of the pieces, and what I assume is faux leather, seem pretty good. We'll see how the cushions and faux leather hold up over time. -Range of Motion... Some reviewers have noted they can't get full extensions, especially on the hamstring curl, and I wasn't either, HOWEVER, this bench does offer a lot of adjustments for the bench, seat, and the leg extensions themselves. I've added photos where you can see where to adjust - you just need to spend time playing around with the setting for each of these to find the right setting for your needs and height. I was able to find settings that allow me to almost do a full range hamstring curl, so in my book this is a PRO. ALSO I saw people mention they couldn't put the seat in upright position - you can - you just need to lower the seat setting to allow the backrest to come all the way up. CONS -Stability... To be fair it's not that unstable, but definitely not as stable as my previous Bowflex bench (which had 4 legs, this has 3). I'm able to do all exercises and feel safe, just something to be aware of if you lift heavy. Not really a con for me, but may be for some. -Size/Tall People... if you're well over 6' this bench is probably too small for you (especially for the extensions). I'd guess this bench may work for people up to 6'2" but maybe look at other reviews from tall people to see what they say. -Decline... Decline setting is pretty steep, but it works. Overall happy with my purchase so far and would recommend this bench at this price point (~$100-$130). You get what you pay for, so if you're on a budget and want a bench that does extensions IMO this does the trick. ... show more

  • Zero complaints for the price!
For this price point it, is hard not to give it five stars. Sure, I've used sturdier benches, but I am completely happy with it and it serves its purpose. I'm 225lbs and have bench pressed 315lbs and up several times and it holds up fine, including the plywood backing. I'm 34" length leg inseam and the quad/hammy extension fits me fine and works smoothly -- have had 100lbs on it with no issues. Took about an hour to assemble and was fairly simple. Lots of assembly required, but the directions are clear and if you have ever used tools at all before, it won't be an issue. Some people mention that the single front ground contact point make it prone to tipping -- I was fully prepared to just screw a sandwich of 12" 2x4s perpendicular to it to sturdy up the base, but haven't felt the need to do so. Leaving 50lbs on the quad extension at all times helps this issue. Pleased to have a new bench to go with my power rack for a price I didn't cry about, would buy again! ... show more
