I recieved my package today and just tried it out for the first time . For the purposes of providing a frame of reference let's say that shaving with a traditional cartridge razor is 100% in terms of a smooth shave. Let's also say that the best an electric razor can possibly get is 98%. The Dome Shaver Pro is a 98% so as far as electric razors go I feel like it's as close as it can possibly be. This is my #1 criteria for grading an electic razor so in that regard it's a win and a good buy. It feels solid and well made but it's too early to evaluate reliability. In addition to it providing a very close shave it also got the job done faster and more efficiently than the other razors I've tried. This is another big win for Manscape. It feels a little different on the head than what I’m used to but I quickly got used to the different (more stiff?) feel . All I ask for is a shave that's close and quick. it does both of those things well. I didn't have any cuts or razor burn so no complaints. I use Lectric shave pre-shave and thought the under carriage of the razor head was well designed and easy to remove and clean. The magnetic head attaches strong and secure. Stronger than other magnetic heads I’ve used. I haven’t had any alignment problems or grinding noises. I own the following razors : Groomie Baldie Pro ver 2.0 , Freebird Flex and the new Freebird Flex Pro. All of them do a decent job but the Manscape and Groomie give the closest shaves. For the price of this razor I would have liked a nose hair trimmer attachment but the travel case is a nice add on and it comes with a high quality usb c cable + it's own power brick so that makes up for it. Well done Manscape. As long as the replacement blades are reasonable I'll be a happy customer. UPDATE : This is officially my favorite head shaver by a large margin. Not only is it the closest shave of the bunch but it does it so much faster and efficiently.

I love the feel of this shaver, it glides smoothly over your dome even when dry. It is already curved, making it a more comfortable fit during shaving. It removes hair quite close, the foil is thinner than my old shaver. The parts all feel quality, the body is solid and the magnetic hair chamber makes cleaning a breeze. The battery life beats many other similar products. USB C charging is huge too, nobody needs another proprietary charger in their bathroom. The products that come with this bundle are great, too. The case and charger are also high quality, making this bundle a pretty good value for the money.

My husband shaves his head quite often and I bought this for him to see if it would be easier and it has helped significantly! It’s super sharp and traps the hair inside so it doesn’t get everywhere. The battery life is great and you can use it a few times before having to charge it and it comes apart really easily to clean.

Razor gives a very close shave and I am happy with that. As with other reviews the drive teeth jump out of position occasionally which is corrected rather quickly. The absolute worst issue I am having is when I pull the head off for cleaning. The drive teeth are held on very poorly and they have springs underneath them causing them to fly off when disassembling to clean it. I have already spent nearly an hour of my life in the 2 weeks I’ve owned it searching the floor for these springs which is absolutely unacceptable for a razor of this price. I have started a warranty claim on this product and must add to this review. I emailed customer support at Manscaped and they replied almost immediately, on a weekend no less! With all of our correspondence, the have been quick to reply, and have offered just the solution to the problem that you would expect. Their customer service department has been excellent to work with. However, even with the excellent customer service, the proof is still in the pudding though, will the replacement part be better than what it came with. If it is better, I will gladly change this to a 5 star review. Received the replacement quickly and as stated before customer support was as good as I have had in a while. However, the replacement part is just as bad as the original, maybe worse. The foil head will not sit flush to the razor no matter what I do causing to always grind and make noise. The product is not even close to a quality product. Buyer beware.

This is the second razor i tried. The first one worked only once. I used this one 3 times so far and it cuts great. It stopped working. Hair gets wrapped around the gears causing it to stop. The head falls off.

Absolutely game changer when it comes to grooming and self care. Ive landed on an every other day schedule and it's been nice keeping a professional and presentable appearance with such ease. I have strictly done the dry shave so far and it's been flawless and smooth. Looking forward to a wet shave once I get a mirror for my shower.

In addition to many different blades, including the HeadBlade Moto, I've tried 4 electric bald head shavers, from the inexpensive 9-blade designs to most recently a Braun Series 9 Sport (the Costco model) which is a face shaver you can adapt to head shaving. I've used this Manscaped Dome Shaver for a few weeks and I am so far very impressed with the closeness of the shave - very unusual in an electric razor. I am getting away from the blade razors because of too many nicks and cuts. This Dome Shaver has a couple of spots lower on the neck you can feel it start to nick, so you have to get into a habit of knowing where to let up pressure. 5-stars! Overall this is well built, delivers a close and comfortable shave, holds a charge for quite awhile and is very easy to clean. It does however seem to trap water in the blade housing, so Instead of water-cleaning, I recommend using a compressed-air can and only an occasional quick water rinse. Be sure it's totally dry before storage.
