I'm all Dewalt but have been buying some Flex tools lately Went this SDS over the Dewalt because it had the chip only function compared to just drill and hammer drill. It's a nice heavy tool when paired with the 8ah battery. Fit and finish is as good if not better than the competition. I really like the fact that it comes with a swappable chuck to be used with non-sds bits. This makes it 2 tools in one which is important when you have limited space in the truck like I do. This leads me to its one flaw however. When drilling with a half inch auger bit into large timbers it will often get stuck. Not sure if it is lacking the low end torque or a safety feature that is overly sensitive? I was able to get my bit unstuck with my half inch dewalt compact drill so there is no reason why a unit this size with two handles needs to be so weak. That being said, I really can't complain too much since this was really just an added bonus since other manufacturers don't have the feature, and it does work ok if you don't let the bit advance too quickly.
