The Skull Shaver Pitbull Gold is a very awesome shaver. I’ve been looking for a good electric or cordless shaver for my head for a few years now and thank goodness to whomever invented this product! I’ve been shaving my head with “face razors” three blade kind, and I’m telling the prices on those add up quickly and the prices are steadily increasing. But the Pitbull shaver get really, really close to my scalp. Not as smooth as a face razor but seriously this will do. I would say the closeness is kind of like how your head would feel a few hours after using the three blade face razor. Barely any stubble at all. The motor is pretty powerful and consistent. The battery life for the gold pro is 90 minutes on a full charge and it has a battery level indicator. The grip portion of the shaver is ergonomical and easy to hold and not too large to hold. Can be used in the shower, with or without shaving cream, gel, or oil. I recommend wet shaving with this. And it is super easy to clean. Also buying the Pitbull rinse stand is very convenient. The replacement heads are a pretty reasonable price and just snap on. Once again AWESOME PRODUCT!! I would give it 10 stars if I could! I would recommend the Gold Pro due to its battery life and better blades. ... show more

Super awesome product. Dropped it tho and it doesn’t work the same. So I’m not sure if that is a product problem or a me problem. Sucky. It did take about 10 min to shave but now it acts funny. I’m bummed. This was pretty expensive but it’s worth nothing now. Needs a new blade after about 4 times use. Which isn’t that great. Blades are 20+ bucks so it’s not that great of a deal. Fits in my hand nicely. Not sure how well this did because of me dropping it. I dropped it on linoleum too. Be careful. ... show more

I was skeptical about these at first and my wife made fun of me for buying these. Man, I’m so glad I spent the money. I save so much time with these. They’re effective for a dry or wet shave. If you prefer a wet shave, I recommend purchasing a gel shaving cream like Bump Off or Bump Patrol, but these give you the closest shave for an electric shave EVER. Battery life is awesome. I use these every other day and have had this for 3 weeks and haven’t had to charge it once. It’s still at 74%. The shave is so fast if you’re bald or like to keep a clean face.     • Great Product While It Works, But Lacks Adequate Support When Issues Arise

The media could not be loaded. I am very disappointed with this product and the customer service. I purchased the Skull Shaver just two and a half months ago, and after only 6-8 uses (I use it once a week), the blades started making a loud and annoying screeching noise. I recorded a video of the issue and contacted customer support. While they initially provided some basic troubleshooting instructions on removing and reinserting the blades, the problem persisted. To my surprise, the support team then told me the blades were considered "consumables" and suggested I buy a replacement. This response is extremely disappointing, especially given the fact that the issue occurred after such minimal use. In a competitive market, I expect companies to stand behind their products, especially for something this new. I’m not looking to save a few dollars—I just hoped the company would make it right. Unfortunately, they seem uninterested in taking responsibility for their product’s quality. I wouldn’t recommend this product or the company based on my experience. ... show more

Had this for a bit now, wanted to give it some time before giving a review, overall the head shaver is amazing, works like a charm and works great in the shower. However, giving a review overall I can only give 4 stars because of the skull shaver. The beard trimmer it came with is awful. Constantly pulling on hair, even when it's just a little touch up. God forbid trying to have it actually trim the beard down. Get a different beard trimmer, and just purchase the skull shaver, save the extra money. ... show more

This is my 4th head shaver of this type. So far this is the best one! It's the easiest to clean and the battery lasts forever. In the year I've owned it, I've charged it maybe 3 times. I use it every 3 days or so though. I'm still on the first blades but thinking of getting some new ones. Not bad for a years use. Cons: The trimmer SUCKS. It's the weakest I've ever owned. I've had others that were way better so don't expect this one to be of very high quality. I was hoping it was on the level of the shave but seems to be a poor knockoff add on. ... show more

The skull shaver was exactly as described. Purchased as a father's day present for my husband who shaves his head at least weekly, but is now shaving it at least every other night as the shaver is so easy to use. The shaver is made well, easy to hold, and so far the blades seem to be doing well overall. The shaver does not give as smooth a shave as a razor blade, but it does work very well for what it is. If you are expecting a smooth shave after, then stick with a razor blade, but if you are looking for an easy way to keep already shaved hair very short, this shaver is what you are looking for. ... show more

It's rare that you see a product that actually lives up to the hype. The Skull Shaver actually cuts dense hair, and cuts it quickly and smoothly. It took a while to get used to the shaving routine, but now I can shave my head and neck in less than 10 minutes, when it used to take me over half an hour!
