Came dirty even though I purchased new. Even if I were to put that aggravation aside and clean it, the plastic housing unit for the foil sits flush with the foil. Why that sucks? You can't push down to hug the contour of anything without scraping the hard plastic across your skin. The foil should be floating so you can push it against the skin to catch the hair. This would destroy my client's skin if I were to use it so I'm not going to risk it. I really wanted this lil guy to get into the deeper skin folds many of my heavy set gentlemen get in the back of their head. Loved the pink color though. What a shame. Fix the housing unit and quality control and I may consider trying again. I really wanted to love this product for my plus size kings. Best wishes. ... show more

I originally planned to return this item after trying it out for the first time. Before I got a chance to return the item I reread some of the reviews and saw someone mention using it gently on kids. Turns out, I was applying too much pressure. The next day I tried it again much gentler and my skin was extremely smooth afterwards. The size of the shaver combined with the color choice makes it kind of look like a toy, especially with the plastic exterior. However, as long as you don't treat it like a toy, it shouldn't break like a toy. I charged it before first use and about 2 weeks after the last use without timing it but both times took less than an hour. I only use it for personal use so I'm not sure if i'll ever completely run the battery down to zero and the blade seems to cut well on stubble. I'd recommend this item for personal use, as a gift, or for cleaning up stubble. ... show more

I use the shaver on my neckline and face. I bought this because of its small size and USB charging capability. There's a lot of raucous (controversy) about this brand on YouTube so i decided to give one of their products a try. The packaging was really nice to start and i like this particular edition because its All Black. The unit itself feels like its well built, with good materials and a solid heft. The USB-C charging is super convenient since it's the same as my Stylecraft ACE Trimmer, cell phone, etc. and the Lithium Ion battery run time is amazing. It gives a "Reasonably" close shave following the trimmer but nothing like a razor or purpose built face shaver. All in all, the owner's claim that all of the products like this come out of the same factories in China seems to bear true. As a Brand, the factories will produce whatever quality you specify for your product. The Mini Skull fits the bill for my needs and is a great value. The instructions explain how to replace the shaving head components, cutter and foil, but i cant find them anywhere on Amazon. A direct link would be appreciated. ... show more

The size is small and compact. It does work and makes my head smooth-ish. But it took a while to do my whole head and not very comfortable. In that time I could have used a razor for a smoother, and soothing shave. The foil fills with hair particles fairly quickly and works better with constant emptying. But the plastic head does not have external buttons, which makes it difficult to remove for emptying and could easily be broken if not careful. This is my first foil shaver for my head and wanted to see how they work. For the price, it can work in a pinch. But I would have rather saved my money and gotten the Aberlite touch. ... show more
