I’ve been using the Philips Norelco OneBlade for a while now, and it’s honestly one of the most versatile grooming tools I’ve owned. I’ll admit, I was a little hesitant to order it at first because I came across a pretty negative review that made me second guess it. But I’m really glad I went for it anyway, because I ended up loving it. What stands out most is how easy it is to use. It trims, edges, and shaves all with one device, which makes it perfect if you like to keep your routine simple. I mostly use it for trimming clean, straight lines on my cheeks and mustache, and it does that incredibly well—super precise without a lot of effort. I also use it to maintain light stubble and clean up my neckline, and it does a great job without irritating my skin. Compared to traditional razors, I get way fewer nicks and almost no razor burn. The blade is surprisingly durable and doesn’t dull as quickly as I expected. It also handles different hair lengths well, especially with the included guards. It’s not quite as close as a clean razor shave, but that’s actually a plus for me since it feels much more comfortable. Battery life has been solid, and I like that it holds a charge long enough to not worry about constant recharging. The only downside is that replacement blades can be a bit pricey, but given how long they last, it hasn’t been a deal breaker. It feels a bit cheesy to call a product life-changing, but this is one of the few times I think I would ever bestow that title onto a purchase.. You won't get quite as clean of a shave as if you used a traditional razor and shaving cream, but my gosh does it get pretty darn close, for a fraction of the effort and hassle. I've been able to use this completely dry and zip over my entire body in half an hour or so, with zero nicks or razor burn or ingrowns or anything. The design itself is simple to hold and effective for getting to all the parts you need to, with a good build quality and is easy to charge with its compatibility with standard charging bricks you'd use with your phone or something. The battery life is plenty long - never once have I had to charge it to finish a whole session. I can't really attest to most of the attachments because I always use the minimal heads that give the closest shave. A neat tip though is you can buy some aftermarket attachment heads like a nose hair trimmer, and those work very well. It doesn't matter who you are - if you want to get rid of your body hair in a cost and time-effective manner, then I would highly, HIGHLY recommend getting a OneBlade! ... show more

Overall, this Philips Norelco face and body groomer was okay and does the basic trimming job. It is useful for general grooming, and I like that it is designed for both face and body use with adjustable options. However, I found it a little difficult to work with when trying to create clean lines or sharper edges. For regular trimming, it works fine, but if you are looking for very precise shaping or detailed line work, it may take more effort and may not give the cleanest result. This thing is amazing. Baby-smooth shave even on my week-old heavy stubble and difficult beard. I love the push-pull shave in both directions. I've used a LOT of electric trimmers, this thing makes all others obsolete. The only fault is it doesn't work very well at trimming my sideburns. But the smooth shave is worth it. Best shave ever. This thing is outstanding! I use it on my beard trim as well but the best thing about it is I have a colostomy bag and I have to trim my hair on my belly to put that on there and it works great for that. Also, I have to trim my hair for bandages and works great on the arms and all the back hair! And the best thing is, I need to cut around the boys down there in the groin area this works great because you don’t have to worry about cutting yourself ! Battery life is forever it seems don’t have to hardly charge it in between uses! To preface, this is my 5th electric shaver in my quest to find a good nut and stick shaver. It’s going to be a long review for those interested. TLDR: It sucks if you have thick hair. My coconuts were nicked, hurt, and left whimpering in the shower. I didn’t even risk the cucumber. I am a man of the Asian persuasion. Meaning, I am almost hairless everywhere, except my no no square. Unmanaged, it makes the Amazon jungle look like freshly mowed grass. I’m not exactly a footlong sub, but I’m not exactly a six inch flatbread either. I got some big ol’ meatball marinaras to work with too. My missus prefers trimmed, but not smooth shaved surfaces. If too smooth, my body’s defense mechanisms decides to grow thorns within a day or two, which is painful for my beautiful wife’s perfect skin to deal with. The hair must be just long enough to stay soft, but not too long to become humid and nasty. How demure. My hair is what L’Oreal commercials are inspired by. Black, coarse, shiny unbreakable hair Jada Smith wishes her bald ass head would have. I have a personal hatred for her - cheating on your mans with your son’s friend is nasty work. God gave her that chrome dome as punishment. Anyways, it’s the kind of hair you can pull knots out with brute force. The roots will always give up before my hair does. I would trust my hair over a rope in an emergency. My hair holds me together stronger than babies hold together marriages. This razor sucks at dealing with it. Awful, worst of the bunch. I tried initially using the guard attachment, but after 25 thousand passes, I gave up and took it off. Then came the horrors. So much pain. I enjoy pulling hair, but not having mine pulled. I am still sore from the razor burns. I am very good at doing this after many years, but that was rough. I got to find out the battery life was a bit more than the 30 minutes it said it was, because it took so painfully long to shave, it died first. Absolutely worthless for me. I gave up and pulled out my trusty Henson razor instead, and shaved them babies bald. I should sue for emotional damage from the weinering I’m going to miss out on during the next few days. For those who are gonna @ me and blame me for improper technique, I am a man who used to shave my jewels with a straight razor.
