Color: Fleurs Du Mal

Features

  • Perfectly Pastel - The MANIC PANIC Creamtone Collection delivers soft and dreamy pastel hair dye shades with less pigment than our vivid hair color dyes, giving a softer look. Fleurs du Mal is a pale, floral purply pink shade with slightly cool undertones.
  • Fight the Fade - This pastel temporary hair color provides fun, commitment-free color that gradually fades over 2-4 weeks because it does not penetrate the cortex of hair, but simply rests on top of the hair shaft.
  • Best Results on Pre-Lightened Hair - This semi permanent hair dye works best to color hair that is a pre-lightened level 9 or 10 blonde. Use our Flash Lightning Bleach Kit to lighten hair before dyeing for best results.
  • Conditioning and Resealable Formula - This semi-permanent hair color not only adds vibrant pastel tones but also deeply conditions hair, leaving it soft, hydrated, and smooth. The resealable tub allows for multiple uses.
  • The Manic Manifesto - Manic Panic's hair coloring products are always Cruelty Free and Vegan - tested on celebrities, not animals! This vegan hair dye is also ammonia and PPD-free, paraben-free, gluten-free, phthalate-free, and PETA accredited.

  • pretty after a few washes
it’s easy to use but bc it’s in a tub and not a squeeze bottle, i think i use more in some areas than others. normally i bleach my hair to a pale yellow and tone it, i don’t use hair color anymore. so my hair isn’t pale blonde but it is in the light blonde range before using this. i keep it on an hour and it comes out darker than i want but it seems to make the color last longer. i prefer how it looks after washing it a few times and i think using a purple shampoo & conditioner help too since my hair is naturally dark before bleach. bc of how long my hair is, i have to use 2 tubs, sometimes 3 if i did a terrible job and applied too much in some spots. overall i think it’s fun to use, easy to apply, no odors, it doesn’t really stain your skin, and i trust manic panic brand. they’ve never let me down. this pic is after 1 wash so it’s still a little dark. ... show more

  • I like this color enough that I have redyed with it ...
Overall, I like this color enough that I have redyed with it three times. The negative is that it's only been a month since Ive started using it, letting it fade pretty significantly before redying (lazy method). I do agree with the other reviewers, the lighter your hair is lifted (bleached) and the whiter it's toned, the better before using this dye. That said, I don't think it's 100% nesscary to go out of your way to be a level 11 before using this. The always starts more of a finger paint purple for the first few days in my experience, but it definitely becomes pretty true to swatch. The biggest gripe I have with this dye in terms of fading so rapidly is that washing doesn't seem to really fade it NEARLY as notably as the sun does. I have thick, curly hair that has always been dry, so I naturally wash as infrequently as possible. However, if I spend a few hours in sun, I notice a pretty significant difference between the hair that got sun and the hair underneath the top layer. I loved trying this new shade, but don't love it enough to try the other 'creamtones'. It does fade to a light peachy pink. Hoping that as this product matures, Manic Panic will make some adjustments to improve the longevity of this lovely shade. Below (left to right) is right after dying in yellow light, white light, the blonde I was before dying, and last photo is faded two weeks. ... show more

  • For Pastel Pink... Wow!
This pink had the best staying power of all the others I have tried, including Arctic Fox, Lime Crime, and every drug store brand I can get my hands on. This one stays the best! I usually hope it washes out, because I prefer the faded pink look, but even after multiple washes were still holding strong! I've even used a harsh cleansing shampoo a couple times and she's still going strong. My photo is from a week out and 4 washes in which, for light pink, is pretty impressive. ... show more

  • Need more than 1 jar
Love the pink it gives off more of a vibrant pink than a pastel which I don't hate it will fade as you wash your hair more. 1 jar was great for me BUT for others who don't have a pixie cut you'll need more than 2 jars most likely

  • Not a product to go to unless you bleach
Didn't work well at all not on blonde hair must need to be completely bleached.

  • Wasn't bright or last a week
I used this years ago and don't remember it being this weak. Food coloring and cornstarch works better imo opinion and cost pennies. Also I let it sit an hour and used heat to set.
