I’ve been dying my hair for years and I had gotten the Manic Panic Fluers Du Mal… seriously the BEST shade of pink I have ever used for my hair. It was so so pretty. I bought it from her a few times. I’m absolutely devastated that it’s no longer sold anywhere. It wasn’t too much of a yellow undertone, wasn’t too red, and was just pastel enough that it wasn’t too light. I will gladly go back to this color of Manic Panic ever brings it back. It was so so pretty and lasted pretty well.

Need more than 1 jar
Love the pink it gives off more of a vibrant pink than a pastel which I don't hate it will fade as you wash your hair more. 1 jar was great for me BUT for others who don't have a pixie cut you'll need more than 2 jars most likely

Perfect for light blonde hair
So I purposely ordered this because I have a blonde balayage in my hair and knew this would only show up a little bit to give myself a rose gold hue. That being said - it worked for me but barely. ONLY USE IF YOU HAVE EXTREMELY LIGHT/WHITE BLONDE HAIR or else it won’t show up at all but I feel that should be obvious if you’ve been around the block with Manic Panic. 4 stars because it’s quality, perfect, and did what I needed it to - but only because my normal shade Cleo Rose wasn't in stock. Still disappointing it didn’t show up more, but I expected that. If you want a brighter pink or rose gold colour look into an alternate pink like Cleo rose, it creates an immaculate rose gold colour when mixed with conditioner before application.

I like this color enough that I have redyed with it ...
Overall, I like this color enough that I have redyed with it three times. The negative is that it's only been a month since Ive started using it, letting it fade pretty significantly before redying (lazy method). I do agree with the other reviewers, the lighter your hair is lifted (bleached) and the whiter it's toned, the better before using this dye. That said, I don't think it's 100% nesscary to go out of your way to be a level 11 before using this. The always starts more of a finger paint purple for the first few days in my experience, but it definitely becomes pretty true to swatch. The biggest gripe I have with this dye in terms of fading so rapidly is that washing doesn't seem to really fade it NEARLY as notably as the sun does. I have thick, curly hair that has always been dry, so I naturally wash as infrequently as possible. However, if I spend a few hours in sun, I notice a pretty significant difference between the hair that got sun and the hair underneath the top layer. I loved trying this new shade, but don't love it enough to try the other 'creamtones'. It does fade to a light peachy pink. Hoping that as this product matures, Manic Panic will make some adjustments to improve the longevity of this lovely shade. No color
Left it on my blonde daughter's hair for 1 hour, and all it did was darken her hair and leave a very small pink deposit on some pieces of hair. We have used Manic Panic many times before, but this pastel pink, did not work.

For Pastel Pink... Wow!
This pink had the best staying power of all the others I have tried, including Arctic Fox, Lime Crime, and every drug store brand I can get my hands on. This one stays the best! I usually hope it washes out, because I prefer the faded pink look, but even after multiple washes were still holding strong! I've even used a harsh cleansing shampoo a couple times and she's still going strong. My photo is from a week out and 4 washes in which, for light pink, is pretty impressive.
